Along this line of thinking ...
There were many children and handicapped folks in attendance. There was a little girl, 5-6 years old, smiling and happily walking beside me all by herself. Just as I began to look around to see if she was lost her mom turned around and saw her and came back to get her. We chatted briefly about how nice it was to not have to go into complete panic mode if you did not have the child's hand in yours.
The same thing happened with a handicapped young man. He looked at me as he walked beside me and I smiled at him. Then an arm came out from behind him and rested on his shoulder. His mom was lovely and said how enthralled he was by the crowds and while she was close by, she wasn't panicked by him being a few steps ahead of her.
A gentleman from my bus, in his mid-seventies with some dementia, somehow got separated from his wife. He was missing for nearly 12 hours. He was found safe and sound at 2:30 AM just sitting and looking around.
If anyone has ever seen the mass marches/demonstrations by the commies you will understand how amazing these stories about the patriots behavior are. During one of their marches in January 2007 I witnessed the most vile, hateful bile being spewed by an 8 y/o child that it stunned me. I simply looked at the mother and very sarcastically said, "verrrry niiiice, you must be soooo proud!"
God bless America and all the patriots who have made her decent and strong!
How Ironic!
In the 60’s and 70’s the Hippies wanted to show a community of Peace and Love....Looks like the dream came true..but never how they thought it would-—in a huge demonstration of conservatives FOR their country!
How sad, that the idealism of young people back in the 70’s turned ugly and even now these aging ( but not mature)hippies are filled with anger and intolerance.
