LA JOLLA -- A well-dressed elderly man carrying an inhaler or oxygen tank robbed a bank in La Jolla Satruday, according to Federal Bureau of Investigation officials.
The man presented a note to a teller at the San Diego National Bank and made off with an unknown amount of cash.
It's unclear whether the suspect had a weapon.
The robber is described as a 6 foot, 4 inch tall man in his 70s with white hair, a gray mustache and glasses. Bank Tellers say the white-haired man was wearing glasses and had liver spots on his hands.
He was wearing a white beret, an argyle sweater and a brown sports jacket.
The elderly suspect was last seen walking briskly away from the bank. t is unknown whether or not the man was carrying a weapon

I’m sure he’ll be the first one that Obama pulls the plug on.

All you need is the nasal cannula comin out of a case - who knows what’s in the brief case? Your lunch, a disguise, a place to stow that lovely money...
People on O2 don’t walk very fast.
I wonder if anyone was holding his beer for him and if he made his getaway in one of those electric wheelchairs from The Scooter Store.
If the police can’t catch this guy, the town should consider getting a new department.
Thats what I told my wife when we first heard this story.
Now it would be one heck of a clever idea if this were a 40 year old make-up artist with an old O2 tank! Strip off the make up and NOBODY would be looking for a young guy in good health!

Hey...it is tough on us seniors out there. Obama is scaring us all to death. Times are getting desperate.
I was thinking along those lines. Or he's just storing up some cash for when his medicare won't pay for his oxygen. Very sad.
Maybe he’s aiming to be sent to prison so that the government will pick up his healtcare cost.
