Turnout estimated by ABC News: 60,000 to 70,000.
Not 2 million.

Right now, only Malkin is still going with the 2 million figure. The NPS didn’t even have to break out extra porta-potties. It was big, but, sorry guys, it just doesn’t seem to have been 2 million big.
Here’s a YouTube video of time-lapse photgraphy of the march itself. Pretty cool:

I would say a mill. If the mall was pretty full then we are talking at least that.

++++++++++++++
Some here are saying the local ABC affiliate in DC said 2 million (??), some are saying it was ABC Radio. Does anyone have a link to DC Police or NPS estimates?
But the difference between ABC National saying 60 to 70K, 500,000 and 1,000,000 is huge. Maybe not 2 M, but we’re trying to get more accurate count estimates!
Great work regardless for all the astroturfing, right wing nuts!!!
Go Tea Partiers! Onward and upward to 11/2010. Stay involved and energized!!
It was not 60 to 70,000. Closer to 10 times that.
My husband stood in line for 55 minutes to use the port-a-potty. He got in line before he really had to go, just in case. Maybe conservatives are just more patient people....so you can't use that as a measuring stick.

Not 2 million.
So, what do you think the turnout was?
