Tea party movement has anger, no dominant leaders..(CNN)
CNN ^ | September 12, 2009 | Jim Spellman

Posted on 09/12/2009 1:01:32 PM PDT by greyfoxx39

Deborah Johns is the angry conscience of the tea party movement.

"Question everything your government is doing," she tells a crowd of about 100 from the bus's stage in the parking lot of the Winners casino in Winnemucca, Nevada.

Under a setting sun on the steps of the state capitol in Little Rock, Arkansas, Johns says: "Our men and women took an oath when they put on the uniform to defend and protect this country from enemies both foreign and domestic. I think we've got some domestic enemies in the White House."

On a sunny afternoon in Louisville, Kentucky, Johns works the crowd of about 2,000 into a frenzy.

"The men and women in our military didn't fight and die for this country for a communist in the White House," she says, and the crowd erupts in a chant of "U-S-A, U-S-A!" Watch rally participants converge on Washington »

On the bus, Johns slips off her heels and slips on a pair of ankle socks. She curls up under a quilt her grandmother made. She favors skirts and cardigans -- a pit bull in cashmere.

One of the most peaceful protests you will ever see, and all CNN sees in anger....what a joke. Go to a left wing protests, they are foaming at the mouth with vile anger.

CNN can’t imagine a movement without a “strong fuehrer”? They are open totalitarians and can’t grasp the concept of “people’s power”.

Correct......the Democrats can’t find a person to blame for the rallys. They don’t know it’s just the American people stating there opinions. We don’t need a leader to do that.

Well the hoot of the day is the CNN news reporter that’s trying to report from the march in Washington, and the crowd is in the background shouting Glenn Beck, Glenn Beck, Glenn Beck!

http://www.breitbart.tv/go-home-dc-crowd-drowns-out-cnn-reporter-during-live-report/

And based on that, if there is a leader to this movement, I’d have to say it’s Beck. Afterall 9/12 was his idea, last March he called for a demonstration in Washington on 9/12, and what happened today was the culmination of that.

The Tea Party movement's core purpose and motivation is opposing Tyranny and (re)affirming Liberty!

How to distinguish Liberty from Tryanny:

  Liberty "Soft" Tyranny
1 Rights are inherent in, and unalienable from, individuals Rights are granted/rescinded by the majority through the government
2 Fundamental rights are life, liberty, and property (absence of coercion) Fundamental rights are food, housing, and healthcare (absence of necessity)
3 Property is owned by individuals who make decisions as to its use, improvement, and transfer Property is owned by 'the public' with government officials making decisions as to its use, improvement, and transfer
4 Government exists to protect the rights of individuals Government exists to plan and direct the resources of society
5 Government authority is decentralized in a federal system with limited and enumerated powers Government authority is centralized in a national system with broad and necessarily intrusive powers
6 Government action is prescribed by rules fixed and announced beforehand Government action is arbitrary and at the descretion of "czars" and planning boards
7 Economic activity is driven by a large number of small entities interacting according to simple rules Economic activity is driven by a small number of large entities operating within the constraints of complex regulations
8 Effective innovation results from contrarian thinking, individual initiative, and the voluntary exchange of property Efficient implementation of government planning requires conformity of opinion, collective action, and the coerced transfer of property
9 Standards of living for the many increase permanently as they utilize improved products and services conceived by the few Standards of living for the many increase temporarily as they utilize property redistributed from the few
10 Altruism is using one's own resources in concrete acts to help specific individuals Altruism is obligating the resources of others for broad-brush programs to help mankind in the abstract

Rights exists solely as a way to fairly decide whose will shall prevail in cases where two or more people disagree. They do not exist for the purpose of enslaving one person for the benefit of another (e.g., the "right" to free medical care.)

Liberty is the right to do whatever does not infringe the rights of others. Rights empower you to help yourself, free from interference by others.

Tyranny makes you a serf to be used by the elite to further their own power. Once upon a time, the nobility used religion to convince the serfs they had to serve the nobility. Modernly, the elite use good people's feelings of altruism to convince them to enslave both themselves and their neighbors. It's basically the same con game, just using a more sophisticated hook.

Note how CNN tries to totally misinform and confuse attendance #’s. “...about 10oo from the buss...”

and

“...sunny afternoon in Louisville, Kentucky, Johns works the crowd of about 2,000...”

THe actual tea party express in DC Police has attendance estimates in excess of 2,000,000. YES, Two MILLION.

No anger shown that I could see via C-SPAN.

They must be confusing the movement with CNN biased reporting.

TAKE ACTION NOW - NO MORE SITTING ON THE SIDELINES
The thing we have to do now, without any hesitation, is vote out this current Congress in 2010. Then take back our Nation in 2012. If we do not mobilize ourselves and others now to do this in ways far beyond where most of us have ever engaged in political matters, we will lose this country. And have ourselves to blame.
FRIENDS, WE CAN NO LONGER JUST 'PREACH TO THE CHOIR' -- WE MUST CARRY THIS MESSAGE TO ALL WE KNOW AND ACT NOW. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.
