Our Walter Reed salute to the troops last night was very well attended. Upwards of 800 people were there over the three-plus hours of the demonstration.

In 1970 Richard Nixon actually left the White House and met and talked to some of the protesters who would surround the Pentagon the next day. As widely different as Nixon and those protesters were, he was more aware of their grievances than the haloed one is aware of why these hundreds of thousands are in DC today.

You nailed it. Watching C-Span I feel that I got up at 5am, drove down to DC and got a front row seat to hear all the great speeches.
