As read on The Rush Limbaugh Show:
So far CNN has only reported on the breaking story on blatant ACORN CORRUPTION from angles that attempt to extricate the government funded community organizing enterprise from the extreme crime we caught on videotape.
First CNN pushed the false ACORN line that [t]his film crew tried to pull this sham at other offices and failed.
To set that record straight please check the Washington D.C. tape we dropped today at BigGovernment.com, which is also being aired on your cable news competitor with curiously higher ratings.
Now that ACORN lied to you, Jonathan Klein, what are you going to do?
Heres what I have noticed from your coverage: You brought in the damage control crowd to FRAME the story. Before even airing our damning Baltimore video. You know your audience would turn on ACORN if you showed them the evidence. So instead you put your competitors in journalism in the crosshairs instead of airing a blockbuster report making massive waves elsewhere.
You even trotted out shameless Clinton era apologist Joe Conason to challenge the ETHICS of our expose. Unreal.
What about the ethics of those at ACORN caught on tape trying to help create a brothel featuring illegal immigrant age range 13-15 from El Salvador?
What about the countless laws broken on tape from a group that stands to get billions from President Obamas stimulus package?
Why dont we wait to have the Columbia Journalism School debate on journalistic ethics after you do actual journalism.
When you air the raw ACORN footage that is now viral on the Internet, and being played on FOX NEWS and countless talk radio shows, then and only then when America can see, hear and smell the stench we have exposed will I subject myself to a CNN hit job.
Mr. 'Ethics', Joe Conason

CONASON: It's not journalism unless they report everything that happened. It's propaganda. If you're a reporter and you're doing something this, then you would report, yes, we went to the four offices and one said, you know, fell for -- took the bait.
If you don't report that, if you act as if you went into one office and they did it, then that's dishonest. The other thing is, Bill mentioned that it's a two-party state. The filmmakers could be liable to civil or criminal action, in fact, for taping people without telling them in the state of Maryland. I have a reporter who works in the capital district that knows about this. It came up during the Linda Tripp affair whether Tripp could be prosecuted in Maryland for recording Monica Lewinsky unlawfully. So that could be an interesting sideline, and may be why the filmmaker did not show up to be on television to discuss this tonight.

In 1992 Conason wrote an article for Spy magazine naming Jennifer Fitzgerald and Jane Morgan as women who allegedly were having affairs with George H. W. Bush, using Linda Tripp as a source.
Conason was a regular guest and a guest host on The Al Franken Show
In 2000, he co-authored the book The Hunting of the President: The 10 Year Campaign to Destroy Bill and Hillary Clinton.

CHRISTIE: I think it only underscores, Kitty, the reason why many conservatives, many Republicans think that there should be a federal investigation into ACORN. And it’s not just this specific case. There have been of a number of cases with ACORN over the years where there have been allegations of illegally registering people to vote.
This particular incidence of allegedly allowing prostitution or those funds to be used, I think that there should be an investigation. And Mark Levin, a conservative radio talk show host, has been on this for years. The silence has been deafening from the Democrats and the Justice Department.
CONASON: You should...
CHRISTIE: And, again, these people...
CONASON: You should present the evidence to the Justice Department if you have evidence of a federal crime.
CHRISTIE: It’s not me...
CONASON: And this is...
CHRISTIE: I didn’t cut you off.
CONASON: This is a lot of vague stuff.
CHRISTIE: Excuse me. I didn’t cut you off. It’s not me. It’s for those in the federal government who are looking at whether or not the federal elections have been tampered with. I think that’s a serious enough allegation that has been out there...
(CROSSTALK)
CONASON: Where’s the evidence?
CHRISTIE: ... but for years, that I think it would be warranted, rather than some of these frivolous cases that the Justice Department seems to be interested in pursuing on partisan lines.

Now THAT is journalism. Pulitzer Prize committee, please pick up the white courtesy phone.
Now I just saw a black so called Republican Strategerist on MSNBC stating he agrees with the Commietator that the 10th Amendment does not count. In re to Pawlenty.
Remember the news where ABC reporters have two male actors kiss at a bar and have cameras around to see what would be the reaction of people around or when they dress up a muslim man in a turbin and have him go to Nascar event, expecting racist comment to be thrown at him
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Why didn’t you drop the other shoe? The results.
There was no huge negative reaction to the two guys kissing, and there were not racist comments made at the NASCAR event (which stunned the ABC reporters.)
Vs. what happened in this instance. ACORN not only bit, but went farter than anyone ever dreamed. Not just one, but at least twice.

Hey CNN...How’s the basement look?
Do you actually mean Operation Tailwind?
And even Lou Dobbs is an economic ignoramus anti-growth, protectionist, isolationist, in agreement with leftists at least as often as with conservatives, and more often it seems to me on the rare occasions I can stand to sample his yammerings. He's a populist first, and a so-called conservative far second, at best.
I can't think of anything on CNN that doesn't suck to some significant degree.
The only thing I have to watch on any of the MSM networks is Kudlow's show on CNBC. The rest is worthless so far as I know. (Maybe I'm missing something, but I doubt much.) Even Fox is pretty superficial much of the time. There's excitement from Beck, fun from Red Eye, and solid news from Special Report. The rest of the crew seems constantly poised to go "All Jacko" at any given moment.
IOW, you just can't get your news from TV alone, or even primarily. I guess you never could, but it's disappointing how little multiple 24 hour news networks have changed that.
Rich irony: A journalist pretending to be a whore and a press whores pretending to be journalists.
They may need a legal defense fund.
We also need to check to see if the fired Acorn’s aren’t just rehired by another wing of Acorn. They can’t afford to leave these people out in the cold.
We need some more conservatives to sting them..but I doubt that they will bit on any honkies again.
