Did Obama set up this scare up to keep tomorrow from being a Tea Party with a million protestors.............or was it indeed a potential terrorist responsible for the scenario?

It may be a while before it's ascertained which one of these two enemies of the Republic was responsible.

I doubt it. Obama wants us to forget about the terrorists on 9-11. We're supposed to be remembering "man-made disasters" through state-directed "service."

Sounds like a low-level screwup, and not really much of one, since it looks like these reports came from people listening over Coast Guard frequencies (which I'm surprised aren't more secure) rather than anyone actually observing the vessels involved.

In fact, I have no problem with them running exercises on September 11. Maintaining readiness to make sure September 11 doesn't happen again seems to me like a fine way to honor the victims. Besides, in its small way, it reminded us that we're still at war, a fact a lot of people in our government would like us to forget.
