I would have been pissed at my dad for apologizing for speaking the truth.

He didn't apologize for that ~ just for disturbing the decorum and traditions.

Obama is the puke who came out calling everyone liars. He'd best prepare to low crawl through a half mile broken glass pathway before any of us are going to bother tuning him in again.

Obama is a liar. His wife is a liar. His mother in law is a liar. His friends are liars (and some of them are mad bombers for that matter). Many of his appointees can't tell the difference between lies and the truth. Many of his appointees could not successfully serve as witnesses in a court of law regarding the murder of their own children.

Liars, liars, liars.

He didn’t apologize for speaking the truth. He apologized for breaking protocol.

I do not care. Wilson did nothing wrong or inappropriate, I am sick of Republicans apologizing.

Actually he didn't apologize for speaking the truth.. He apologized for the breach of decorum.
Today he refused to apologize from the floor. He never backed down from the substance of the statement

0bama is the one disturbing decorum. His whole attempted dictatorship and attacking anyone who dares question him is unsettling and disrespectful of the office. God knows you could cite example after example and the Demonrats are really vulnerable on this issue of calling anyone a ‘liar’. You can’t have civility with people who are that vicious to dissent and Wilson needs to apologize for apologizing to the liar when he is not worthy. He has brought it to a low level and needs to be questioned. It begs questioning because the agenda is so alarming and a threat to our way of life.

All members of Congress agree to go along with the rules when they are first elected. The rules are what they are.

He apologized for breaking the rules.

He didn’t apologize for calling the Liar in Chief a Liar.

There should have been NO apology for anything.

Many of us are proud of his dad and for his gumption not to just sit there and listen to propaganda.

Rightly or wrongly Obama was invited to the Congress, not the other way around. He was invited and he became a very borish guest by calling everyone liars.

He was still a guest.

Nazi Pelosi should have stopped the show right there and escorted him out.

Republicans will need to get even with her later once they gain control of the House. I think they should punish her by banning her from the House floor for 2 years.

What rules?
Booing the president during the state of the union speech.
I for one am sick to death of Republicans caving, yes caving, to the “rules” when the dems can spit on the flag and are celebrated.

I heard that this incident allowed the Dims in SC to turn this into a money-making machine. I wonder if this could hurt Rep. Wilson in the long run.

I myself am proud of his breaking protocol, & would love to see the Prez go up against each of the Houses of Congress once a week in similar fashion to what they do in the UK.

Politics.

It was probably worse for Obama to have to accept the apology than for Wilson having to give it.

I am proud of Joe Wilson, too. I wish we had more like him and I wish the pubbies had enough testosterone to have stood up and walked out of the talk.

Well, then Wilson needs to quickly make that abundantly clear to the public.

Obama said that Wilson gave an “unequivocal” apology. Wilson needs to address THAT Obama lie too.

We need to quit pulling our punches, or even giving the impression that we are.

Mama, what joe did reminded me of the Braveheart movie. at the end of the movie the king has braveheart straped down on the table and they are cutting on breaveheart and the kings man keeps saying to breaveheart “just kiss the kings emblem and we will show you mercy” just kiss the kings emblem...or what was being said to joe was just go along with the healthcare and vote for it just go along and vote for it. Well joe saw his “one chance, just one chance to confront obozo” and for joes voice to be heard (because the msn keeps a lid on dissent)where his voice would/could not be swept under the rug...Joe said what the majority of us know to the truth, but dont have that one chance......
