Boehner defies Obama's claims. Brief newsvideo at link.
"HR3200 does not contain any restrictions on non-citizens participating in and paying for coverage available."
Democrats rejected opportunity to restrict access by non-citizens.
Thanks for posting! Boehner setting the record straight and CNN covering it! CNN covering anything GOP is amazing.
I’m getting mixed signals on this illegal immigration portion of the bill. Outside sources that aren’t clearly biased would be welcomed.
Thank you for “free” healthcare when I in US and have infected tooth. I went to Harris Methodist in Fort Worth and the fix me. I make $1000 payment without job to $15,000 bill, I not understand whu $15 thousand to pull tooth, this is problem I think, but I pay in payment, this is responsible. Many people not pay, like I pay, but that not right and then no care for next person. I think many socialist may need civics lesson because it not Catholic or Christian people who not pay, it hte drunk politician who not pay taxes, all in white house. Anyway, I not feel bad about this because Obama blew nose on Honduras, but that is fine, we learn speak Italian and German and Chinese and then we not sell food to US any more and your price go up since you have Monsanto freak melons and franky foods. Anyway, I pay my $1000 and get help from church, but yes $15,000 for tooth is too much, American people ned stop suing for all things, this make everything cost too much. Sometimes bad things just happen, nobody need sue. Crap happen, yes?
Watch the video - Boehner is making his point right from the language of the bill. Read it yourself rather than rely on “mixed signals” from Obama and the MSM.
Why did you go to a hospital to have a tooth pulled?
He didn't - he's spamming this thread to try to trash it with a load of irrelevent, stupid nonsense, because the subject of the article nails Obama as a liar, and his employers don't want anyone reading about it.
He's a shill, probably ACORN.
Must not forget rationing as well.
Must not forget rationing as well.
I live in Choluteca Honduras, I went to school in US. I have VISA and double residency. I love Texas. We love president Bush and Mr. Cheney. We think Obama, Ortega, Castro, Morales, Noriega, Chavez can all take “flying leap” and we are pro-business pro-democracy. I love US before Obama. Things very good before. Things great here with many new business but all European franchise stores, not US. So you make my VISA to US no good after all these years, since 1984? What have the small business people of Honduras ever done to Obama except go to school and make money and take risk with our OWN money and buy American products, like my tractor? You, Mr. Obama, need to get a real job, save your own money, and then try it. You try and take $1000 and make $100,000, the hard way. No connecion, no illegal favors, no using other peoples money to buy a house. You know, the way all of the “guns and religion people” and “chattering class” people do it. You are an insulting, egomaniacal man like Hugo Chavez, and su madre needs to pull your ears. You made sure your Aunt in Hawaii died so nobody could ask about your brith certificate, all was really going on when you were there was not just for that.
I went to clinic, medicine never arrived, I was in school as international student and went to TCC and TCU and open franchise. If you read my other posts about Choluteca and think, you understand. ACORN people are like Che communists or Chavez “reformers” or MAO police. How dare you insult me? The infection go to brain, the dentist ($600 I pay for Keflex, not know any better, never came in, this is what you get at local “latino” clinic). My fault that I didn’t listen to friends and go to their dentist. But I had to get surgery on my neck, almost died. But it was 3 days in ICU and $15,000, a tooth, a scar and not fun. I got Catholic CHarity help and friends and I pay $1000 all my savings, and I make payment. I send payment $50 a month to Harris from Honduras, now. I still owe $3,100. This is too much for a tooth. I am not saying social medicine is better I say it is worse. This is a medicare clinic that almost kill me, they are terrible. It much better not to die, but why is it either free/cheap and terrible or really expensive? I did not know better, and I was there studying because I love US and Texas, but it is not perfect and that doctor should lose license.
Well, after this I do not think many on this board would confuse you with an ACORN shill.
Great rant!
We know what they are up do. Push (White) grandma off a cliff so that there’s more money to pay for newcomers who will be guaranteed to vote democrat.
My son work at Dockers plant here. We have american extension schools. He make $2 per day. We happy to make that. If we get VISA and go to US, we are grateful, but who do you invite to your house and then insult and treat like crap, and then wear the pants they make for you? That is also not right. I have Subway franchise here, my friend have Chilis in Tegucigalpa. What is your problem with people coming to the USA to work, go to school. I pay my bills, I still am paying them. I not declare bankruptcy and I not cheat taxes like Obama people. I pay them. Now you revoke VISA because our country want to defend constitution? Any nobody cares about us, do they? So when you Americans come here to retire, remember that you forgot about us in Honduras.
Got English?
Thank you. I got upset. Sorry. But this is how it works, I employ everyone in family, we have big family, some get discounts, we have franshise, we have road side market, we use our vegetable for franchise, we get clothes from son who work in factory, we have cunada (in law?) who work for doctor, we keep grandma home and she help with nietos and kids and stay in kitchen and bake every day. Not quiet, is messy big family, but we have what we need. But factory and US money here HUGE help. Obama now stop it all. Okay, what did we do wrong? Anyway, we yell and we protest here too, it is not illegal to yell and protest and march and sit all over. This is how we get our way. There were many protest for weeks and months before Mel was removed in pijamas, but nobody covered that (BS MSNBS CNN STD).
Sometimes mistakes are expensive. We agree with you about the injustice of Obama’s treatment of Honduras.
Lesson? Listen to your friends!
Your lesson was expensive, but you are alive. Which is more important?
Coming here legally? Becoming a US citizen? No problem at all.
However, it is not simply a process of walking across the border and grabbing a job that pays cash. It is far more than that and anyone who is here illegally...I have a great many problems with. Too many to expand on here.
People posting on FR don't run the US state department nor do we hold the office of the presidency. We didn't forget about Honduras.
