SAVAGE is BANNED from the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA!

Posted on 09/10/2009 9:21:39 AM PDT by ggrrrrr23456

Just heard on Savage's home radio station, 910 KNEW, that they will be dropping his 3PM to 6PM PST slot in favor of the Armstrong and Getty show!

I am interested to see what his reaction will be to this one...

First banned in Britain, and now in his own hometown???

Will he blame Fox? No sarcasm intended.

RE: "Michael Savage was better when he was only on in San Francisco"

That's true -- I listened almost since he started on KSFO. Never missed a minute, even went to work before 6AM to make sure I was out by 4PM (his old hours were 4 - 7). I am still a fan but..

BTW, Hannity is now live and Mark Levin is live 3 - 6.

that’s weird. No longer listed on the schedule and can’t find any mention of him anywhere on the KNEW site.

Also, no mention of this on Michael’s website, though it is updated with today’s news.

What gives?

No - I was dead serious.

Savage lost me the other day when he called Glenn Beck a hemerroid.

After watching Beck’s show yesterday....when he called Bill O’Reilly “his friend”....Savage just may have nailed it. Beck went Fonzie and jumped the shark yesterday

I do not agree with Savage all the time, but he is the only radio talker who will call out the others....and he is the only radio talker that is not some one-world, pro-Commie China, liberal shill.

KNEW's promotion for 9/10 on 910: "Be careful what you ask for . . . ."

I had a feeling that they were about to drop Savage. I can only imagine the volume of complaints against Savage -- IMO the majority from people who have no love for America.

Savage does not need radio -- he's an inch away from being America's sole defender of true free speech.

Not since the 18th century has our free speech been in this much jeopardy.

Savage's invitations to defend free speech in two countries is a sign that he has been Chosen.

That is Savage's future, as great as any Founding Father had.

You know I do wonder though, he has taken a lot of time off lately.

I recall his oblique references to health and maybe he some sort of Life issue that will prevent him from going forward.

Hope not. I like his impromptu style.

You are kidding right? Savage is listened to by many people I did not listened to him, here in the Bay Area.

Maybe he took his program to Sirius.

Well both KSFO, home of Mark Levin and KNEW, home of Glenn Beck (and apparently former home of Savage) are local.

Having listened to Savage on several occasions it is at least possible that he has lost his mind.

You are right. Did you hear him when he was local? He may not be as good as then, but there are still the memories and hope he will return. At least he would talk about things none of the other guys would. He used to do homemade meatball recipes all the time, I wonder if he would do recipes for kim chi pizza?

Yes, it was KTRB 860. They recently dropped the right-wing talk format and went to sports talk.

ROTFLMAO! Savage trying kimchi pizza? I don't think so.

Here's the problem w/ Savage. He just doesn't have the desire to do this anymore. No passion, no interest. He's been phoning in the show for the past couple of years at least. He could go back to the days when he made pizza and meatball recipes sound awesome but he just doesn't want to do it anymore. If he doesn't want to be there, why should we (as the audience) want to be there?
