~ EXCERPT ~

Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) apologized Wednesday night to White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel for shouting “You lie!” during President Obama’s healthcare speech before a joint session of Congress.

Emanuel accepted Wilson’s apology on behalf of the president, according to a Democratic source familiar with the call.

In addition to his phone call to Emanuel, Wilson also issued a statement separately, calling his comments “inappropriate and regrettable.”

I didn’t think much of Wilson before this. And now I absolutely, unequivocally hate the very air the man breathes. To apologize to RAHM of ALL THE PEOPLE to apologize to!

“McCain and other republicans ripped the growing spine right out of Joe. They’ll have none of that.”

- Was watching xfiles the other night..had a dream that McLame was abducted by aliens and never seen or heard from again.

The man truly is an abomination to the united states, and I dont blame Joe Plumber from wanting to get out of that campaign trailer with him as fast as possible. The very air around McCain is toxic fumes.

He hasn't been useful to the pubbies, much less conservatives, since BEFORE his campaign for president.

the networks will probably tape future Dem Pres addresses to Congress and show them only after they have edited them.

That's certainly possible.

I’m so sorry I called him a liar to his face over health care. I should have realized that it’s only all right to call the POTUS a liar behind his back in front of the press over a war that lefties decided not to like, as Senator Theodore Kennedy (of blessed memory) did. Besides, only he was privileged to so call him, being of the sacred Augustian blood of the house of Kennedy. Us mere plebians should know our place, and accept it cheerfully.

I believe you position is how we got here, whereby an individual go to Congress with impunity; fact the natural born sneak, cheat and liar, used that term first and continued to do so in his speech against the American people! Marxist of Queensberry Rules, do not work especially in war, open environments and political conflicts...those who believe so will always be losers...from Korea, Vietnam to Middle East and other locations where people are not free from tyranny!

I have no clue what you're trying to say here...not that I really care. You might want to take the time to compose a coherent argument before you accuse anybody of anything....

Before the first American revolution the colonies had people that thought much like you do. They were called Tories. Thankfully their thoughts didn’t prevent patriots from doing what was necessary or we wouldn’t be discussing this today.

These are dangerous times for liberty. If you want to keep it it will take a few uncomfortable moments for those who are uncomfortable with speaking the truth.

You not carrying, explains your McCain persona.

Typos aside, previously, this is quite clear,

I believe your position is how America has placed themselves in a losing situation, whereby an individual being a natural born sneak, cheat and liar can go to Congress with impunity; using insulting terms in his speech against the American people! Relying upon Marxist of Queensberry Rules, treating you as a servant and fool, while you think that civility works in social or political conflicts and war...those who believe so will always be losers not learning from history or empirical facts...I realize that people of McCain’s ilk did not get it right in Korea, Vietnam to Middle East and other locations, fall for the civility scam while unable to repair the damage they do leaving people not free or from tyranny! And by the way taxation is a form of tyranny when manipulated for the benefit of the few at the expense of the citizenry.

Got it!

Typos aside...

It's not your typos, it's your syntax. I'm guessing English isn't your first language.

Your correlations are simply erroneous, especially the notion that I favor civility (read, passivity) with regard to war. If you took the time to read my profile, you'd realize that I spent time in the Marine Corps, and although I'm not a combat vet, I can assure you that I'm not a pacifist.

That said, I don't disagree with what Joe Wilson said, but because he said at a joint session of Congress, he was right to apologize. Not for substance, but for style, which is what he did, and it's a small price to pay for giving this issue national attention. That subtlety may be lost on you, and those who are thinking with their emotions, but it's not lost on thinking people.

At Bush's 2006 State of the Union speech, Democrats interrupted his speech to applaud and cheer their obstruction of Bush's proposal to reform Social Security.

Fast-forward to about 45:50 to see it. And at 46:05, take careful note of who you see in the lower left corner of the frame.

Hint: he didn't vote "present" this time.

Your right,

It was late and I was tired, just jammed too much together without review; not to make excuses and a good laugh... During my graduate work, you would not believe how many times I was dinged when doing rants, namely Econ 560, still have same problem, just too much fun. (how’s that for bad English) Thanks and best wishes.

Yep, Carmel-by-the-Sea. There’s also a Mt Carmel, NY. Probably all named after the Biblical place - at least one hopes they aren’t named after a misspelling of the candy.

That's it, of course the post you initially responded to (which I read after I posted to you) did appear to be referring to caramel, not Carmel. Since I'm not well versed, I didn't recall it was in the Bible.
