This evening I let my emotions get the best of me when listening to the Presidents remarks regarding the coverage of illegal immigrants in the health care bill. While I disagree with the Presidents statement, my comments were inappropriate and regrettable. I extend sincere apologies to the President for this lack of civility.

Oh Bronzy, you have such a GOOD point.
The top google trend right now is
demagoguery
Like Glenn Beck says, “Speak the the truth BOLDLY.”
Leave it to cnn to extract an apology.
“Speak truth to the power”
Gezzz, what an idiot..
McCain came out and condemned Wilson, of course.
You can thank the GOP Congressional leadership. The GOP leaders probably told Wilson to apologize immediately.
Wilson was using O’s favorite mentor, Saul Alinsky:
Rule 8: KEEP THE PRESSURE ON. Use different tactics and actions and use all events of the period for your purpose. The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this that will cause the opposition to react to your advantage.
omg.
another ball-less pubie.
What’s done is done. Joe Wilson’s two words will be remembered longer than anything in POTUS’ speech. The apology won’t change that.
You can’t unring a bell.
Did he really apologize or is CNN just saying he apologized?
Yes, THAT was the look of total seeting anger by “the One”...he lost his composure for a moment or two and Pelosi’ head spun almost off her neck.
Exactly. You can bet Barack and his friends have done plenty of heckling (which is not what Joe did) in dignified settings under that excuse. Joe just had the guts to serve it back when and where such a call-out mattered most.
I'm guessing a number of RINOs suggested the apology or face ostricization from them. Nancy and Biden alone probably couldn't have forced it.
I am Joe.
>>Maybe it was rude, but weve been civil and quiet for WAY TOO LONG!!!!<<
Yes, if this is what he got from an apologetic wienee, wait’ll he sees the crowd in DC on Saturday.
Yelling like that just isn’t done unless one is an uncivil Dem. Mr. Wilson had the courage to yell and the manners to apologize like a gentleman, not for WHAT he said, but when he said it.
the first president in living memory to be called a liar in such a speech...lolol
Apologize for telling the truth?
The Republican Party called my house today and I informed them we are no longer Republicans. I told them it is a sad day when people in wheelchairs, people with walkers, young mothers with babies have more guts and have to get out and fight for their rights and their country because their Republican representatives are too weak and corrupt to do it.
You are right. What Joe Wilson did during the speech IS the story.
