I’m confused-—I just read where some govt agency (Fed?) said recession coming to end. No jobs - doesn’t mean that.

All those folks without jobs will soon discover that Max Baucus intends to whack them with a $3,800 fine for not having health insurance.

Jobs will not come back until the Obama agenda becomes a dead-letter in Congress. Till then no business feels safe making any plans.

The Christmas retail season is going to hurt. Just like the old saying, “The depression wasn’t too bad, as long as you had a job.”

But, but, but, Biden stated that they had saved/created a million jobs and the stimulus is working better than they had hoped for (I’m betting that the results of the stimulus is working just the way they had hoped for - they want our economy to collapse).

As long as the stimulus holds out the job outlook is pretty good in Asia. Will continue to be bleak here until we make more of what we consume.

MAKE HERE - MAKE NOW

“The depression wasn’t too bad, as long as you had a job.”

Or the other old saying...”You aren’t gonna drown...the fall is gonna kill you!”

Every action, every program, and every word spoken by the Obama administration is a job killer. Until that changes there will be no jobs and this Nation is headed for bankruptcy.

I agree with the need to make here again, but what's the point if consumers won't buy the products made here? Both have to happen.

As for saving money by buying cheaper foreign made goods over higher priced American goods, I don't think the cost of rising unemployment, taxes being spent on the unemployed, loans falling into default, etc are made up by saving $.50 on pens and binders.
