they were always coming true. people just don’t like to leave their comfort zone.
Heck, just look at the 30s. Obvious major-ass problem; huge; had to be dealt with, and a majority were like “meh, it’ll be ok”

The same “conspiracy theories” linger because there seems to be an ever present effort to make it reality.
Just as the socialists keep pushing for nationalized healthcare in America.
They have to file away their plans every so many years and try again to ram through such measures.
