Its a sad day to see a man of good work get so little credit, CNN senior political analyst David Gergen regretted about Van Jones on Mondays Anderson Cooper 360, complaining about the coverage of the Obama green jobs czar who resigned late Saturday night after his radical views were exposed: I mean, theres no balance to understanding just how many good things hes done.
Jones signed a petition which charged Bush administration officials may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war, described himself as a communist, compared George W. Bush to a crack user, called Republicans assholes and made other incendiary race-based remarks, but Gergen saw a saint: As he left Yale Law School, instead of going to a lucrative job, went out and worked with ex-prisoners, tried to create green jobs for them, has been featured in Time magazine, gotten all sorts of award for it.

(a) The dirty little secret is that the entire media are like this Van Jones now. Most American democrat voters are not like these people though. Its just a media and government elite".
(b) LIBERAL COMMUNIST SUPPORTERS? Wake up, Brent.
Well, then what Gergen is REALLY saying (if he stops for a moment and actually THINKS about it), is that it’s sad that Obama threw this wonderful man under the bus instead of standing up for him against the lies and misinformation of a few crackpots on the right.
Is that what you’re saying, Mr. Gergen? That obammy is a chicken sh1t?
It sure sounds like it to me.
He is this generations Bill Moyers.
David Gurgling...Unavowed Communist.
Aw, but David, he is getting the credit he deserves for the work that he's done...
What does the phrase,”no balance of understanding” mean. That doesn’t make sense. Am I the only one reading it as nonsense?
Well if the Obama Times says he is a good guy....
These people are continuing to dig themselves an even deeper hole. They think they can keep people ignorant to the facts and the facts just aren’t on their side and people that learn about Van Jones and the other radicals that make up this administration aren’t falling for it. There is really something sick and demented about these people and the media is showing they have no credibility whatsoever. Van Jones needs to be used as much against the media as 0bama.
I meant, “no balance to understanding.” What does that mean.
No, he won’t “say anything”. He won’t speak out loud the logical conclusion of his own words: that Obama caved for NO REASON. That he let a good man go for NO REASON.
Why doesn’t he say that? It’s the only conclusion to be drawn from these “facts”:
1. Van Jones is a good man.
2. Nobody but a few right-wing crackpots are criticizing him and they are using lies and misinformation.
Then why did he quit?
Why did obammy let him quit?
Why isn’t Gergen asking those questions?
Because Gergen WON’T say anything, even when what he’s leaving unsaid is the obvious and logical conclusion to the argument he’s making.
Why not just come out and say it, Gerggy-boy?
Why not face up to the consequence of your own erudition?
See, he tried. That's all it takes, if you position yourself to gain media attention as a minority community activist. For trying, you get all sorts of awards.
Who has he actually helped, besides himself? For how many people has he produced tangible, verifiable, life-improving results? He's been sermonizing about "green jobs" for at least a year, but when asked recently to define what a "green job" actually is, he said he couldn't, but he was trying to finalize a definition.
And notice how gerggy-boy took a page right out of obammy’s playbook:
Obammy sat in the front row of Wright’s anti-American diatribes for 20 years but never heard any of it.
Gerggy-boy said something similar about Van Jones. He never heard any of those things he said.
Way to go, gerggy-boy. Follow in The Messiah’s footsteps.
David Gergen must be a fag. There’s no other explanation.
as for Gergen, the poet once said, “What a tool”
It's a lame attempt to apply some moral relativism to Van Jones' background. As in "so what if he is a truther and a deserver and an avowed communist, amongst many other negative things? He said he was trying to do something nice and he went to good schools just like I did."
But you're right. It is nonsense on every level.
Gergen must be a closet commie if he chooses to defend jones.
Note to Gergen:

Another clown! What is it this morning?

Man, someday I want to meet this little Gergen pussy in a dark alley!
