Obama and the Left

The abrupt resignation of White House aide Van Jones, deep in the news hiatus of Labor Day weekend, will probably be forgotten in a few days. But it's a story that still deserves elaboration for what it says about the political coalition that helped to elect President Obama and whose demands are leading him into a cul-de-sac.
As a candidate, Barack Obama was at pains to offer himself as a man of moderate policies, and especially of moderate temperament. He said he would listen to both the right and left, choosing the best of each depending on "what works." He sold himself as a center-left pragmatist. When his radical associationsReverend Jeremiah Wright, William Ayerscame to light, Candidate Obama promptly disavowed them. Now comes Mr. Jones, with a long trail of extreme comments and left-wing organizing, who nonetheless became the White House adviser for "green jobs." This weekend he too was thrown under the bus.

Who saw him as a moderate?
I think it was Obama, Farrakhan, Alensky, and Lenin; just to name a few more.

DA Purge, Da Purge.....discussed right here on Free Republic during the election cycle, reference the patterns of historic ( hysteric?) national socialism are about to begin.
Its good news and bad news.
The purged will become backroom boys, underground Acorn manipulators, so you will be seeing them again with their hate and violence in organizing the "hopey -changey" Utopia revolution. They ( and there will be more than Van Jones under the bus before its over)will take their places as all of their ilk have in history, organizing the unthinking masses, issuing emotional calls to action, ACTION, ACTION! Man the barracades, etc, etc!
Unfortunately they will be with us until they are put behind bars for the crimes they will commit.
So we are not , according to the history of national socialism, through this by a long shot.Beck and others are quite right to say that Van Jones resigned in darkness. No comment, no reason, just a public falsely altruistic statement from Jones ( "I'll be bahk," is the impression left.).What we have accomplished is the further radicalization of the Obama crowd, which is good.
Beck, Limbaugh , Malkin, Palin, and all the others who publicly oppose these "Czars" on their background and records should not let up. The more we can radicalize them, the sooner the public will see the true faces of the Obama movement of national socialism.
The sin that Van committed was that we saw in him the TRUE FACE of the Obama movemnt. And his mask was not viable at this point in the Obama movements evolution. The others have their masks well in place, and Obama has the greatest and most effective mask of all. His records have been thoroughly sealed or cauterized, but that can of worms will soon be opened. We need to inform America of this fact.
Getting these enemies of the Republic to show their true faces is what we have begun to accomplish, despite the censorship of the MSM. It is a great accomplishment as our citizens are beginning to realize how they have been traduced.
Lay it on folks. We have gained an inch in a hundred mile long battle!
Remember that the most effective weapons against fascism are ridicule, derision and truth. They worked on Van Jones. The additional accomplsihment we have is that America is now understanding just that.
Thank you Mr. BECK!!!!!!!

From
Michelle Malcolm's story a couple days ago:
Obama czardom is the deliberate end-run around transparency. Van Jones did not just accidentally slip through the cracks of the Obama vetters. They knew what he espoused before they installed him. Take it from Obamas own political godmother Michelle and Baracks consigliere and Chicago powerbroker Valerie Jarrett took full credit at the nuttroots dKos blogger conference last month (August 15, 2009) for recruiting him and closely following his career:
JARRETT:. You guys know Van Jones? [Applause. Moderator injects: "This is his house apparently."]
JARRETT: Oooh. Van Jones, alright! So, Van Jones. We were so delighted to be able to recruit him into the White House. We were watching him, uh, really, hes not that old, for as long as hes been active out in Oakland. And all the creative ideas he has. And so now, we have captured that. And we have all that energy in the White House.
Jarrett, as I pointed out on Sean Hannitys radio show five weeks ago, is the self-proclaimed keeper of Obamas urban/racial authenticity. The Obamas dont make a move without her, according to their closest friends and allies. Jarretts praise for Joness Oakland activism is explicit endorsement of his race-baiting career at Ella Baker, funded by the Soros-supported Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights/Ford Foundation/Rockefeller Foundation, and his Free Mumia agitation in the Bay Area schools where he lambasted moderate civil rights leaders for objecting to politicizing the classrooms and where his pro-Mumia allies likened supporters of murdered police officer Daniel Faulkner to the KKK.
They knew EXACTLY who he is, and know these other Marxists they have surrounded themselves with, too. They have been chosen PRECISELY BECAUSE they are fellow travelers.

But, it's a story that deserves elaboration for what it says about the MSM. They didn't cover it until it blew sky high. Not the NYT. Not the WSJ.

‘Candidate Obama promptly disavowed them” Missed that part.

I guess it just isn’t ‘fashionable’ for any mainstream paper, even the WSJ, to mention that Jones was a self-described communist. Too bad. It clears up much more than just ‘controversial statements.’

When his radical associationsReverend Jeremiah Wright, William Ayerscame to light, Candidate Obama promptly disavowed them That is not true. He took his time, and then did so in a namby-pamby way, trying not to alienate his commie nut base. He spoke like a lawyer when he tossed his white grannie under the bus.

They hardly knew the guy:
"Mr. Jones was a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, which was established, funded and celebrated as the new intellectual vanguard of the Democratic Party. The center's president is John Podesta, who was co-chair of Mr. Obama's transition team and thus played a major role in recommending appointees throughout the Administration. "
