The One’s Speech: A Display of Malignant Narcissism

The speech is a total display of malignant narcissism. Not only does Obama talk about himself excessively, the speech seems to be aimed at students who probably remind him of himself when he was young and encourages those students to be like, well, himself. Asking students to help out their community is asking them to follow his foot steps—he being a self-described “community organizer.” But more importantly, directing the speech to the students with discipline problems and telling them that they, too, could become the next Michael Jordan or inventor of the iPod is encouraging the President’s one enduring trait: utter pretentiousness. A malignant narcissist is one who is troubled somehow but instead of deciding they need to change, they want to change the world to be like them. This speech was that: its purpose to turn students into pretentious, community-minded, liberal mini-Obamas.

They forgot to add the victimology in the first paragraph, poor little non-American boy couldn’t go to the American school and had to get up real early.

A shame he couldn’t enourage them to aim for something higher than playing basketball or invent a next generation music player.

I agree he talks about himself too much. I also found it depressing.

Every horrible dictator in the history of the world was a malignant narcissist. They are mentally ill but have an uncanny ability to hold sway/brainwash an amazing number of people, gain their trust, loyalty and worse, irrational devotion.

Therefore, the most fundamental task in our Party's political and ideological work is at all times to hold high the great red banner of Barak Obama's thought, to arm the minds of the people throughout the country with it and to persist in using it to command every field of activity. The broad masses of the workers, peasants and soldiers and the broad ranks of the revolutionary cadres and the intellectuals should really master Barak Obama's thought; they should all study Chairman Obama's writings, follow his teachings, act according to his instructions and be his good fighters.

......a total display of malignant narcissism.....

Not so.

The man knows he is inadequate and has but one strength. That strength is his ability to give a speech. Since he has no other recourse he must man the pumps of his sinking ship of state.

He has scheduled the speeches because he is afraid. Fear is the motivator.

We can tell by his head flip frequency.

Count the number of times Baraq flips from right TOTUS to left TOTUS and back.

I’ve been watching this for 6 months or so.

10 flips per minutes is relaxed

20 is stressed

Being retired makes it possible.
I tend to DVR the stuff and look at it in abridged form.
The head flip frequency has become kind of a fun thing, LOL.
Maybe Glen Beck or Rush will pick up on it too, I think they scan FR for ideas.

But his sqaudristi are going to find out that affirmative action fascism will not work. It will blow up in their faces.

Narcissus is leaning out further and further over his reflection in the pool.

It’s a way to dissipate the extreme frustration any rational patriot gets when having to watch a Baraqqi.

That strength is his ability to give a speech.

Not so.

He has the ability to read from a teleprompter, a
speech written by others.

>> “If you get a bad grade, that doesn’t mean you’re stupid, it just means you need to spend more time studying. “

And it doesn’t mean you’re a hopeless loser either. A bad grade doesn’t necessarily mean you’re an idiot, or lazy fool with no chance of success in life. Just because you get a bad grade, that doesn’t mean you’re dumbass, or an idiot. Fear not, stupidity can be overcome by studying harder. /s

Naturally, the assumption is a bad grade is the result of limited study. There are plenty of kids who spend a fair amount of time studying, let’s say, math - yet, they have difficulty grasping critical concepts that inevitably create stress, anxiety, and undermine the process of learning. The thought of additional study time is futile, and they resign themselves to a mindset of inadequacy. OB’s statement unfortunately reinforces the sense of stupidity for these kids.

This is all part of the grand plan. He will try an amendment to allow him to run for multiple terms. He needs the school kids to get familiar with him now so they can vote for him in 8-12 years.
