Reagan by comparison had 17 i 3 i’ve 3 i’m. Also he didn’t have a indoctrinating lesson plan with his to instill in the students that he was a great leader. He also did not ask all schools to watch it at all the same time while all the while dangling federal “stimulus” funds above the heads. Even if he did that 2 wrongs don’t make a right. I don’t want the feds involved in local schools. It is not needed. And it is likely to be abused. But that’s what you get with government schools.

I think that everyone is missing an important point here (unless I overlooked it).
Besides the fact that Final Crisis is most likely fishing for trouble, the Reagan interview was just that; an interview. When one is asked personal questions about what one thinks, it is kind to give personal responses otherwise the questions are not being answered. Final Crisis is, hopefully not that ignorant (though I have my questions).
Obama is giving a speech to kids about them and what they should do and accomplish. It becomes what every other thing this self-important, ego-driven man becomes. It’s an essay on how wonderful he is and what wonderful things the messiah hath wrought and brought.
Reagan was far from an egomaniac unlike Final Crisis’ hero (In my humble opinion).

I had been inclined to agree with you, particularly because speeches like this are usually written by others so it really indicates more the degree of hero worship going on in the speech writers' office.
Except I counted up the I's on the Reagan speech you linked us to (& they're about the same length) and rather than the 75 you claimed, I only got 26! (I got 58 on Obama's, I'll take others at their word it was only 56.) That's a huge difference.
So now maybe I'm inclined to believe Obama's speech waaaay overdoes the me-worship, because somebody with a normal ego would have sent the speech back for a rewrite so as not to come off like a narcissist.
I'm also inclined to believe you don't count very well. Big difference between 26 & 75.
