Jones blames 'smears' for ouster (Convicted by his own mouth!)

On a slow news day, late at night, on a holiday week end when most citizens aren't paying attention to the news, the White House released a statement that Van Jones resigned.
And although Jones did earlier issue an apology for previously describing Republicans in crude terms and other questionable behavior and associations, Jones, a true member of the Obama administration, blamed the evil other, those opposed to the reforms of President Barack Obama (D), for forcing his resignation. You see, it really wasn't his fault.
"On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me," Jones, special adviser for green jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, said in a statement announcing his resignation just after midnight Saturday. "They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide."
He continued: "I have been inundated with calls -- from across the political spectrum -- urging me to 'stay and fight.' But I came here to fight for others, not for myself. I cannot in good conscience ask my colleagues to expend precious time and energy defending or explaining my past. We need all hands on deck, fighting for the future."
Spoken like a true member of the Obama administration. He won't have to worry about joining the ranks of the unemployed though--all ex President George W. Bush's fault of course--as he'll be a triumphant trophy hire for numerous environmental, and other organizations, where as a victim of the vast right wing conspiracy he'll enjoy martyr status.

I didn't think I would ever say this, but thanks Glen Beck. I'm not much into Glens presentation, reminds me too much of John Steward sometimes, but whatever helps to connect people to the hidden truth I can support.
Maybe his 5 questions thing will catch the wind now... let's hope.

I have yet to see or hear in the MSM how much these tsarovbitches are being paid. After all, it's public record.
What budgets do their salaries come out of......the president's discretionary budget? The various cabinet officers' budgets to which they're ostensibly tied? Where, where, where in the public records are their salaries embedded and evidently hidden?
If these were George Bush's tsarovbitches, their salaries and perks would be splashed all over the front page of the Slimes. Chrissy "the Tingler" Matthews would lead off with this "scandal" every day on his show.
No doubt these commissars are being paid well into 6 figures plus benefits. More Obama hope-a-dope....sting like a bee, lie like a rug.

One thing to do is shout loud and clear: “DOWN WITH THE CZARS! DOWN WITH THE CZARS! HUUUURAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!” at every Town Hall Meeting and Tea Party. Bumper stickers should be made. Posters should be pasted up of Obama-joker dressed like a Romanoff. I.E., play the czar thing to the max.

Agreed. Mark Lloyd of F.C.C. MUST be next. Because they are going to go straight for the First Ammedment now, seeing as they can well understand the power that Free Talk gives us and how all of their plans to *Transform the USA* will be stopped unless they somehow eliminate or greatly retard our chance to a) talk back to them and b) talk to each other. The them we are the enemy and therefore likewise to them Talk Radio, Conservative TV, internet and free public assembly are our "Command and Control". In war this is the first thing you want to take out. And this is indeed WAR. Far better get him before he gets us.....

For all their “media sophistication” the neo-fascists of the left do not seem to realize that they leave immutable historical tracks. Rush is the best at this, running their words back at them. The fascist liberal press think they can ignore, or lie about, facts without anyone calling them on it.
However, as much as conservative news outlets publicize the foibles of the new fascists Drudge is important to reach the “independents”.

Van Jones may be playing the victimization card in his resignation, but he knows one truth from this affair...his message doesn't play well on the national stage.
His career success will be at best roach-like in that he will have to lurk in local or splinter markets (like Jeremiah Wright).
His star has fallen!

Low hanging fruit; Rosa Brooks. But hte target needs to shift to vetting. It’s about the vetting...what did Obama know and when did he know it?

Yep! People need to remember that. These guys are never "out." As one of Obama's cabal, this is simply a relocation of Jones. His leaving is, if any victory at all, a very small victory.
Remember, we have been fighting against these guys or people like them since the 30's. They are not going away just because they get called out; they just go underground.
Many of us conservatives were lulled into a false sense of security with the Republican takeover of Congress in '94 (mea culpa). We must never relax our vigilence again. Keep pushing, keep fighting, and never, ever give up.

" Jones, special adviser for green jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality,"
American Thinker, the words you are looking for are "green jobs czar." I know they told Glenn Beck not to use the word czar but did they get to you, too?
