I believe the WH may be afraid to fire Van Jones. Is this the kind of guy who is going to go quietly into the night b/c Obama finds it expedient/necessary to throw him under the bus?

No, the White House has a got a situation on its hands. It loses ground every minute it continues to stonewall on Van Jones’ radicalism, but it takes a huge risk that Van Jones will turn on the Prez in unimaginable ways if they can him.

The WH might be able to strike a deal with Jones, but I doubt it.

Old saying: pick up a snake, don’t be surprised that it’s a snake.

My biggest fear: We have been so atuned to seeing movies depicting repressive governments always shown in a dark dreary landscape.If something were to happen to flip us the wrong way quickly I am afraid the American people will wake up in the morning look outside and the sun is shining and think...life is good, not knowing what the hell just happened to them

What America needs to understand is, Barry Obama is the anointed one, not the head of the monster. He is the means to the long desired ends of the Pelosi/Reif/Waxman leftists. Barak Obama is THE DEMOCRAT PARTY CHOICE, so HE IS THE Democrat Party.

Until the Democrats see he is destroying the democrat party, he will continue to have their full support because he is carrying out the transformation the current leadership of the democrat party has lusted for for decades!

The far left now running the nation are Soros paid-for operatives tasked with bringing America down. You don't know want to know what will follow, but suffice it to say, there is about to be a catastrophic event or series of events which will throw this nation into martial law, and the event won't even precipitate here, it will happen in the Middle East and raise oil to three hundred a barrel, tossing this nation into a deep depression, shortages, and rioting, and neutralizing U.S. while the old Soviet re-establishes it's control over all of Europe this time.

With the advent of the Obama election, we must face the reality that communism has won. Van Jones is but one of several devoted commies, including Barry Obama, now running this nation. The democrat party has numerous elected congressional and Senate people dedicated to communistic rule in Amerika. Unemployment at 26 year high

So much for the stimulus package -- unemployment rose to 9.7% this month after shedding 216,000 jobs in August. How long will the administration be able to concoct ridiculous excuses before the media starts criticizing them on the economy and the stimulus bill? This article still stretches for a positive by listing a couple powerful stats like “the manufacturing sector grew in August for the first time in 19 months” and then with this quote " Some economists credit the Obama administration's $787 billion economic stimulus package of tax cuts and spending increases, along with the Cash for Clunkers program, with contributing to a recovery." Some economists? Who, Larry Summers? Joe Biden also remains in denial: "The recovery act has played a significant role in changing the trajectory of our economy, and changing the conversation in this country," Biden said. "Instead of talking about the beginning of a depression, we are talking about the end of a recession." STORY

Jones a Truther?

Yesterday Glenn brought you even more disturbing news about Green Jobs Czar Van Jones. He signed his name on a 9/11 truther statement. If you don't know what a 9/11 truther is, they essentially believe the United States government knew in advance of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and purposefully let them happen. Jones released a statement to the media that did not deny he signed his name, he just says he doesn't agree with the 9/11 truther petition. Uh huh. STORY

It sounds like Glenn has a vast research team looking into and uncovering any and all wasteful spending surrounding the massive $787 billion stimulus bill.
