WOOOOOOOOOO
That is one Hugo protest...
I checked some blogs and they were in a lot of countries.
Recall last week they made protests “illegal” although unofficially. Small protest groups are met by violent thugs, tear gas, water cannons and such.
Love that poster
:)
Wonder why FOX isn’t mentioning this?
I don’t know how we missed it.

Wonder why FOX isn’t mentioning this?
Wow! This is certainly not something that America’s Democrat “mainstream” newsrooms want Americans to see. It’s no wonder they’ve spiked the story. The Democrat “mainstream” newsrooms will continue to prefer lamenting the “military coup” in Honduras, instead.
Sorry if this was posted before.

Thousands of opponents of Hugo Chavez marched against the Venezuelan president across Latin America on Friday, accusing him of everything from authoritarianism to international meddling.
The protests, coordinated through Twitter and Facebook, drew more than 5,000 people in Bogota, and thousands more in the capitals of Venezuela and Honduras. Smaller demonstrations were held in other Latin American capitals, as well as New York and Madrid.
The Honduras march was led by Roberto Micheletti, who became president when Chavez ally Manuel Zelaya was ousted in a June coup.
“Any politician who tries to stay in power by hitching up with a dictator like Hugo Chavez, he won’t achieve it,” Micheletti said. “We’ll stop him.”
Chavez, who was traveling in Syria, ridiculed the protests, likening Micheletti to a gorilla and saying: “Those who want to march, march with ‘Goriletti,’ the dictators, the extreme right.”
Chavez supporters held smaller counter-demonstrations, including a Caracas rally that drew nearly 200 people. Police in Quito, Ecuador, intervened to keep pro- and anti-Chavez groups from clashing.
Turnout at the anti-Chavez rallies was far from massive in many cities. A dozen people gathered in Sao Paulo, while about 200 turned out in New York, Madrid and Miami. Protests also were held in the capitals of Argentina, Ecuador, Chile, Panama and Bolivia.
Protest organizer Marcela Garzon in Colombia said she didn’t care about the numbers.
“The quantity doesn’t interest us, but rather the quality,” she said.
Associated Press writers Fabiola Sanchez in Caracas, Venezuela, Jeanneth Valdivieso in Quito, Ecuador, and Freddy Cuevas in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, contributed to this report.
I look at those pictures of the protests, and I can see what the problem is!
Chavez can’t read English, and all the signs are in English (they musta learned it from VP Richard Nixon...LOL)
Wow is right - and so wonderful to see!
Come on, Venezuelans! Take back your country!!! Inspire Americans to take back ours!
I was announcing yesterdaythat there would be rallies at US cities.
I was announcing yesterday that there would be rallies at US cities.
It was reported on Spanish language news in Central Coast California, but not English language news that I saw.
The main Ven blogger I use was traveling and missed this one. He mentioned he would be doing this yesterday. He said he would hope to have a lot of photos and written accounts in his mailbox when he gets back online.
There are links to other Ven blogs but most are not in English
I’ve pasted the story on my facebook page only to see it disappear 4 times. Briefly it showed 4 posts. Launch the page again and they are gone.
Do I need a roll of tin foil to start making hats?
Its weird sometimes. Was it still in the profile page?
It’s really flaking out. It hasn’t shown on my profile page at all. Sometimes it shows up on the home page, other times it doesn’t show up.
They all (Obama, Chavez, etc.) use the same play book don’t they? bring in paid goons to make it look like you have a lot of support...
I hope its not being censored
