We’re told Lee County schools will tape the message, then decide whether to show it to students.
Charlotte County schools will allow teachers to make the call, but parents can prevent their kids from watching.
In Collier County, students will not be watching to speech, but the school district will post it online.

Presidential Speech - Social Studies Teachers May Show Recorded Podcast
President Barack Obama has announced he will present a special address to public school children on Tuesday, September 8. The U.S. Department of Education, in information provided to school districts, says the president will “challenge students to work hard, set educational goals, and take responsibility for their learning. He will also call for a shared responsibility and commitment on the part of students, parents and educators to ensure that every child in every school receives the best education possible so they can compete in the global economy for good jobs and live rewarding and productive lives as American citizens.”
Tuesday was chosen as the day for this address because on that day, much of the country begins class for the new school year.
The Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD will be in the third week of an already busy school year, and many students will be at lunch during the broadcast. September 8 will be a regularly scheduled instruction day in HEB ISD. The district will not show the speech live.
However, the district will record the speech as a podcast and post it on the HEB ISD web site. It can be used as an instructional resource for social studies teachers, and posting it on the web site will also make it available to parents and families who want to view it online. Parents who do not want their children to participate in viewing the podcast should notify their campus principal.
Conservatives are being handed a silver platter, they better take it with as much graciousness as possible!

That is good news. I don’t have any kids in school but urge those who do to keep them home. They are so impressionable and Barry knows this. He wants to be our king.....and America is waking up to stop him.
