Check out the Tweet that MSNBC's David Shuster posted a little while ago. He apparently sees some kind of significant irony in the fact that the ObamaCare protester who had a finger bitten off by a supporter of Pres. Obama's plan was treated by Medicare.

To which we would respond: so what?

Wouldn’t he be required to be on Medicare at some point, like retired and over 65 years old?
these dingleberries don’t get that we all have our money confiscated by Medicare and SS. It is not by choice. Of course, we use it when we get to that age.
I bet most of us wouldn’t have ‘opted in’ if given the choice.

BFD. That’s because the bitee is retired and if you want your Social Security, you’re automatically enrolled in Medicare. So if he wants his finger put back on, Medicare is the only game in town. As for the implication that he’s some sort of hypocrite for using that which he protests against: just because you’re Shanghaied doesn’t mean you have to be happy as a member of the crew.

How do you think the numbnuts at MSNBC know he’s on Medicare? He’s over 65 and mandated to be covered by the govt medical plan! But they have no idea if he is a veteran or if he carries supplemental health insurance. What an azz, again!
He went to the hospital of his choice, he did not have to wait for an appointment and Medicare will pay the insurance company of his choice.
Mr. Shyster doesn’t realize that some people on Medicare are protesting 0bamacare because they know Zero will have to gut Medicare to attempt to pay for this govt. takeover of the medical system.

The Hospital releases information on how this patient’s bill was paid? They are discussing a patient’s information with the news media and public?

In the lawsuit that will follow, we can only hope for more irony; maybe obama will have to completely loot the medicare lockbox to pay the settlement.
As more and more hospitals and doctors drop their participation in medicare, Your choice is going to become irrelevant, You will be forced to go to the only ones left that still accept it.
More doctors stop accepting everytime there is another round of medicare reimbursement cuts.
So stay tuned there is another one coming up.
I work in health care and we were notified last week that due to the upcoming medicare reimbursement cuts all administration salaries are frozen and staff salaries will be limited to 2% so look for more docs and hospitals to drop medicare.
Well actually, he was treated by a doctor and a medical team, services for which they will be underpaid by a scheme that is going bankrupt.
I wonder if Medicare would have covered a beating by the SEIU.
