First it was Gov. Paterson. Now the dean of New York's congressional delegation has played the race card -- and just as the governor did, he's using President Obama to do it.

Rep. Charles Rangel said Tuesday that "bias" and "prejudice" toward Obama are fueling opposition to health-care reform.

Actually, I'm kind of glad that Charlie is doing this. People are at the point now where they are not as intimidated by the ‘race card’. The more and more guys like Charlie keep trying to play it, the less and less intimidating it will become. Fortunately, the RATs just don't know when to quit.

I spoke shortly after the retired police man from NYC who was ejected the day before by Carol Shea Porter. There were paid activist (possibly union) thugs outside the hall dressed in SCREAM masks and gowns screaming "Stop Republican Scare Tactics". Needless to say, I let them, congress and Obama have it with both barrels.

Agreed, the race card has been way overplayed. Thankfully. Doing it on this debate is even better—there is good cause for dissent on the proposals. Keep it up Charlie and ‘rats. Please.
