JIM LEHRER: As you know a lot of the commentary over the weekend was that nothing’s going to happen getting from here to the final hurdle here unless you really start cracking some heads, and really say, “Hey, this is the Obama plan, this is what I want. So much for what this committee wants and what that committee wants. Here’s what I want. I’m going to push and go.” Are you ready to do that?
PRESIDENT OBAMA: You know, the interesting thing is we’ve actually been very clear on what we want. I’ve said that I want to make sure that if you have health care you’re going to keep it. I’ve said that we’ve got to reform the insurance industry so people aren’t being excluded for preexisting conditions, that it’s not as easy for insurance companies to dump people when they change jobs or if they lose their job. I’ve been very clear about the fact that it has to be paid for. I’ve been very clear about the fact that we should have a public plan.
So we’ve laid a whole bunch of markers out there. And this week, as members of Congress have worked their way through this process and examined what all the options are, what we’re going to be doing is bringing some of them into the White House and —

CNN Uses Pro-Communist American to Tout Cuban Health Care

There’s something deeply wrong with journalism that scrutinizes and criticizes the institutions of free and successful nations, but produces puff pieces on the supposed achievements of totalitarian dictatorships. On Thursday, CNN aired a piece of Communist Party propaganda about how Cuba could serve as “a model for health care reform” in the United States, complete with an authoritative sound bite from an American medical expert, identified only as someone “who’s lived and worked in Cuba for decades.”
But the expert, Gail Reed, is a longtime admirer of the Cuban revolution, married to the Cuban official who served as ambassador to Grenada in the early 1980s when U.S. troops liberated the island from hardline communists who had executed the leftist Prime Minister Maurice Bishop. She's also worked at Granma, Cuba’s official communist party newspaper.

As for Reed, she was profiled in the Miami Herald back in 1983 after she and her husband returned to Cuba after American forces liberated Grenada. She talked about the fear she felt at seeing U.S. Marines surrounding the Cuban embassy, and told the newspaper, “I feel I have a very strong identification with the Cuban revolution.”
“When I first came to Cuba in the ’70s, I was very impressed with their efforts in building a new kind of society,” Reed explained.
Thanks for alerting me to the Jim Lehrer quote about “cracking heads”.
PBS is simply a taxpayer-funded, wholly owned and operated OBAMA PROPAGANDA MACHINE.
The poor get $600 a visit care at emergency rooms whenever they want it. The fact that it clogs up real emergency care isn't even on the radar for these folks.

Presidents serve a max of 8 yrs, Congress critters for life, if they can. Congress will go along with the president as long as they see:
1. He is popular
2. What he wants is popular.
Lacking these things the congress critter throws the president under the bus and does what every self serving official has done since the invention of dirt, they vote THEIR OWN INTEREST which happens to be what the most people at the time want. Odumbo has no chance of getting anything done by “cracking heads” and Lehrer is a moron for not realizing this.
I went to the Emergency Room for the 1st time a couple of years ago (and the last, I hope) because I stupidly sliced my hand with a razor knife. The wound was not even sutured, they use a liquid band aide and gave me a shot, tetanus I believe and the bill came to almost $1400.00. It was paid in full by my ins but I was stunned by the amount.
Start ‘cracking heads’ and I’ll guarantee you someone will start ‘poppin caps’!!

Jim Leherer called Obama a Crack Head?
It was refractory because every time she was released, she refused to take her medication. Her last admission was for a month back in July when she racked up a bill of over $160,000.
Did I mention she was an unemployed illegal with no insurance?
Not only did all the citizens of Arizona pay for her care, she was also walking around in between hospital admissions exposing everyone to TB.
Are we really this stupid? FGS, seal the borders!
While the lefties accuse Obama’s critics of inciting violence, they openly advocate it. Do they really think no one is going to notice??
