Easier to do, IMO, than defnding a confusion of orifices and their purpose.

The five other New England states, plus Iowa, have laws permitting same-sex marriage, . . .

A way misleading statement. IIRC, only Iowa has a proper law, passed by their legislature and signed by their governor for homo marriage. The rest are the result of illegal, untouchable judge made law.

It wasn’t an “anti-gay marriage event” (a marriage event with anti-gay overtones), it was an “anti-gay-marriage event” (an event at which people spoke out against same-sex marriage). I wish that the media would learn how to hyphenate properly.

I hope that Don Carcieri runs for the Senate in 2012 against that ultraliberal Sheldon Whitehouse.

LOL. Or do anything properly

I'd definitely like to see The Governor take a shot for the Senate in the future, or whichever house seat he lives in.

No, the Iowa law has not been changed. The SC ruled it was unconstitutional to discriminate against homosexuals. That is the way it happened.

Okay. I wasn’t sure. Maybe the only state to pass it legally was Vermont.

It’s a huge issue here—especially in the Republican primary for governor.

What are the chances that your state supreme court will relieve the politicians of the people’s wrath, and decide the issue itself?

Not gonna happen. Next year there is the possiblity of recall on the ballot of three of the judges. It is extremely difficult to get the required number of votes to oust a judge but this time, it may happen.

In reality it looks like the only way to get this overturned is to try to get a Republican legislature and Republican governor and go for a constitutional amendment. That is a long process.
