THOUSAND OAKS -- A 65 year old man had his finger bitten off Wednesday evening at a health care rally in Thousand Oaks, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.
Sheriff's investigators were called to Hillcrest and Lynn Road at 7:26 p.m.
About 100 protesters sponsored by MoveOn.org were having a rally supporting health care reform. A group of anti-health care reform protesters formed across the street.
When someone from the pro-reform side crossed over to the anti-reform side, a fist fight ensued, which resulted in the man's pinky finger getting bitten off.
It's believed the man was on the anti-health care reform side.
He took his finger and walked to Los Robles hospital for treatment.
Police don't know who bit the man's finger off, but they're investigating the incident.
“When he gets to our side, he tells a story in one sentence: “He punched me hard, straight in the face, so I bit his finger off.””
...And this is why you make sure they cant get up after you hit them.
Always, always, always bring video cameras to these events. These cockroaches are much less likely to come out and play if the lights are on.

“A witness from the scene says a man was walking through the anti-reform group to get to the pro-reform side when he got into an altercation with the 65-year-old, who opposes health care reform.
The 65-year-old was apparently aggressive and hit the other man, who then retaliated by biting off his attacker’s pinky, according to Karoli from DrumsnWhistles.”
After I wrote my post, then I read others that followed and the whole scenario changes. Guess the drive-by media is searching for the right story to make their side look like innocent babes.
Be that as it may, as your picture shows, pro-reform guy could have gotten to his group without ever having to confront any of the anti-reform folks. Yes, he was looking for a fight.
The point is if you cannot go to a non violent protest without being mutilated, I think anyone who goes should be armed. Fortunately it was not the guys trigger finger.
This is going to end badly if the OZero’s thugs don’t stop the crap...hopefully it ends badly for them.

Obama was touted to bring people together. He has accomplished that. Unfortunately they are biting, kicking, screaming in each other’s faces. He is the most polarizing figure in my generation. Before long, black will be fighting white with knives and guns. So much for change you can believe in. I want no part of this change.
Who has stopped carrying guns? It is one of the protected rights in the Constitution.
