McClatchy's approach to this is so filimitous ~ the VA book was written by the HEMLOCK SOCIETY, a group dedicated to convincing people to commit suicide.

What did they imagine the intent behind it was.

This newspaper chain can't go bankrupt fast enough!

Proving that "experts" don't know what they're talking about.

Or they're lying...

The booklet contains exercises that ask veterans to ponder whether, for example, life would be worth living in a wheelchair or in a nursing home. It offers a range of options that start with life being "difficult but acceptable" and ends with "not worth living."

A) kinda.

B) sort of.

C) Give me a pill.

D) My master, Obama is obsessed with death, so I guess I’ll let him decide.

E) Get the F*** out of my life.

VA critics, however, say the book is flawed because a VA physician and ethics official they say advocates physician-assisted suicide helped write it.

Robert Pearlman, the book's lead author, joined three dozen other physicians and scholars in a 1996 brief arguing that the Supreme Court should recognize the right to physician-assisted suicide. Pearlman said, however, "I am not an advocate for physician-assisted suicide."

The experts are right, dead on, if you will. It isn’t a death book. Because of its binding, it is actually a death pamphlet.

What kind of “expertise” would make a person more capable of understanding that pamphlet than you or I?

The experts (at least in the excerpt) didn’t deny it was a death book. They said ‘it’s a reasonable attempt to help veterans plan for end of their lives.’

We know there are a bunch of experts in the Obama admin that believe euthanasia in all its forms is a real, reasonable alternative that is also cost effective.

I mean Rahm’s brother Zeke said that damn hippocratic oath really is a huge problem dealing with the healthcare situation.

McClatchy should be out of business soon. The geniuses leveraged-up and went on a newspaper buying spree just before the bottom fell out of the business and the economy. Them “journalists” is smart....
