Whatever the caption, it has to start with "My friends".

McCain was in North Carolina? That’s pretty close to Virginia, where I live.

I THOUGHT I had noticed a distinct drop in the sanity level in the region, but I had convinced myself it was my own imagination.

McInsane and his merry band of RINOs are just in time to save Obama's behind by snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Members of the RINO Leadership discuss healthcare reform before a "group of plants" ... and a row of green shrubbery placed at the foot of the stage.

Senator McCain, you say we should reach across the aisle and attempt to compromise with the Democrats on healthcare legislation?

NEE! NEE!

These guys are backing stone-cold leftists as Republican candidates across the land.

One of them is the Bill Clinton-supporting Trey Grayson for the US Senate in KY. McConnell has thrown his considerable political muscle behind him.

If you're a Reagan 'Peace through Strength' 'Personhood pro-life' conservative, don't let the current propaganda fool you. Rand Paul is not the only alternative to the establishment's RINO.

A great young conservative, Bill Johnson, has taken up the challenge to enter this race and represent true conservatism in the Republican primary.

He will be one of our special guests tonight on the America's Summit, Restore the Republic, national conference call tonight at 9 pm Eastern time. Click HERE for the call in numbers. We welcome your questions and comments for Bill. This is not one of those phony conference calls like congresscritters are staging these days, either. Folks get their chance to say what they really think and to ask real questions of the candidates.

If you don't want to dial in, you can also listen either live or in the archives HERE.

No, c’mon, please! I have a soft spot for Sen. McConnell. Yes, I’m fully cognizant of his shortcomings, but he tag-teamed Nancy Pelosi with President Bush and for that, he has my loyalty.

OK, on that, we agree. Starting to get mad at AZ voters now for re-electing him as many times as they have. My friend, I’m so ready for him to retire.

Burr is not a rino.

He is very careful politically but he is not a rino.

He admits to a mistake in voting for the stimulus bill, but if I remember correctly he said that they scared him so bad that he thought that was his only option.

Generally, his votes are conservative.

Scared into voting for the stimulus...Working with McCain on healtcare...Things that make you go "hummmmm."

BTW, my caption didn't necessarily concern Burr. But where McCain is involved Burr better watch out. McCain will use Burr to push whatever half-a-plate of $hit he foists on us.

McCAIN: "Well, to answer your question, I was born a poor Mexican child, back in my native homeland..."

McCONNELL (thinking): "God, I hate it whenever he tells this same stupid story."

I agree with you about McCain.

I would not be in the same room with him.

I also saw with some concern Burr’s statement that if they could get the single payer issue out of the way, they might work out a compromise.

I intend to write him tonight and point out that there are too many other things that are not acceptable: IRS records made available to anyone in the medical profession, abortion, “aspirin for old guys instead of a hip replacement”, a department in DC that will decide what is smart research and what is a waste of money, the same department deciding what care is appropriate based on age and other considerations, ....on and on.

The bill is full of crazy Fascist ideas.

Burr may be intending to go at it one step at a time. I don’t know and only time will tell, but I would hope that after he kills the single payer idea, he then says something like “OK now what about this department in DC that is going to grant medical care based on some set of rules similar to the IRS rule book?”...and from there on to the next not acceptable condition.

I can only hope, as our other senator is about as liberal as Reid.
