Obama asks every student "what they can do to help the president"

On Tuesday, Sept. 8, President Obama is going to deliver an address to all American students. Obama's Department of (Re-)Education helpfully provides detailed instructions so that the teachers can help promote Dear Leader's message.

Teachers can extend learning by having students:
Not surprising they'll be "redistributed." I can't help but be reminded of Michelle Obama's chilling quote from the campaign trail, which I placed on the adjacent poster:
Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.
As a parent, I agree with Ace: "Hey, Obama, can we see the text of your speech to every schoolkid before you deliver it?"

Its not about taking advice, its about indoctrination of the kids.

More indoctrination from “the community organizer”.

Sure wish Illinois had asked him for his birth certificate many years ago.

How about four bus tickets back to Chicago?””

There needs to be 5 tickets- Mother in law also has to vacate White House.

Is this student letter-writing campaign a ‘stimulus program’ for the post office?

Most kids cannot compose nor WRITE a letter these days, anyway.

“Now, kids, you know that there are those among us who oppose our agenda to improve life for all Americans. It’s sad to say, but some of those might be members of your own families.

“What I want you to consider doing is to start a journal, something that only you know about. Whenever you hear someone saying something fishy or even hateful about me or my administration, write down their name and what they said, in your own words.

“If you feel that somebody’s negative thoughts against this administration are about to be turned into action or even violence, let us know. Your contributions will be held in the strictest confidence and you will be noted in our records as a genuine patriot.”

A letter has been delivered K-6, 6-12 to all of the schools. Apparently the President is addressing all of the students. The children will be given special projects. My guess is they will be indoctrination/service projects. (We must remember that 9-11 is Nat’l Service Day, after all. And he can always tie any message into Socialism/Service blather at will.)

Since we were thinking of plans for Labor Day anyway, we could extend them through the eighth. Keep the kids out of school for an extra day. :)

[doing my best impression of Rush doing his best impression of Jim Wright]

“I...I...I only wanna hep the President.”

...which of course translates to...

“I...I...I only wanna screw the President.”

Dear Mr. Soetaro, My 4 kids each promise to write one paragraph of your resignation speech. Thank you, Campion the Freeper”

How about they write paragraphs of NObama’s “plea for forgiveness” speech after his trial and guilty verdict over never having been eligible in the first place?

That is much better than impeachment. Sets a precedent and makes NULL & VOID every papere he signed, every proposal he brought forth, and might even remove Sotomayor from the Supreme Court.

"Since he’s running the country as if he got advice from his own children, he’s now asking for more diverse opinions from the same age group."

Cheap shot! Leave the kids out of it! (Besides, I doubt his kids would give him such poor advice).

I’ll make copies of his birth certificate and distribute them to all the naysayers. I’ll just need an original certified copy so I can do my part.

Hey, Obama...

1. I'm the public student.

2. You're a public servant.

3. That means it's YOU that should be helping ME!

Since you seemed a little confused on the concept.

Other than the web link is there any other verification of this?

I have not heard about it on the news, will it be broadcast on TV? CNN?
