Here’s another story that would be front page if a Republican was president. It’s being smothered by the Democrat controlled media because it exposes their master as a sexist hypocrite. Where are the hundreds of female journalists who should be demanding an answer as to why Obama pays women less than men?
His “do as I say not as I do” attitude has been the M.O. for Obama since his first day in office.
On July 1 a report on the salaries of Obama White House staffers was quietly released and shoved under the rug by the media. It showed the average female staffer is paid $9,168 less than Obama’s male employees. This is hypocritical in the extreme.

“Ledbetter” extended the time to sue for gender based pay discrimination.
Yet no one has asked Obama why this isn’t a violation of the spirit if not the letter of Ledbetter a bill he made such a big deal out of signing with less than ten days in office. No one has pointed out that Barack Obama campaigned on promises to do everything he could to equalize pay scales between the genders, and even mentioned “Ledbetter” several times.
This was the first bill Obama signed upon becoming President. In doing so he even committed the first violation of his promise to give Americans five days to comment on Congressional acts before he would sign it into law. When questioned about violating his own “five day commentary” rule, Obama said signing it was “too important to wait.”
Obama has no trouble dictating to private industry who it will hire and how much those employees will be paid. He even has a Czar for pay. Will the “Pay Czar” take up this disparity? Don’t hold your breath.

Oh ... wait ... that's what she does. Never mind.
Which means precisely nothing. The question is: do the 'underpaid' female staffers have the same skills, experience and working days/working hours as the 'overpaid' male staffers?
If they don't then this is the market at work, plain and simple. Why pay someone the same if they have less skills, less experience and less willingness to work long hours?
Woman very often have less willingness to work long hours - just that difference will dramatically skew the averages.
Under Bill Clinton, if I recall correctly, when Mike MCCrury (sp?) was hired to replace Deedee Myers (sp?) his salary was significantly higher, like about $30,000 higher........
Must be a Sharia Law thing.
Not true when the one doing the paying is preaching to the public about "fairness", forcing the rest of us to follow rules that he himself would not follow, and enacting laws that punish those who do as he does, not as he says.
In this case, it is VERY important, and means quite a bit.
It would be nice to see the actual numbers. “On average” doesn’t tell the whole story; for instance, do all female staffers make less than all male staffers or are there some female staffers who do make more than male staffers, what positions are concerned, how many male and female staffers are compared, what are the highest/lowest salaries for men/women, etc.
It’s just sooo easy to lie with numbers...to make a point.

Here’s the real point to this piece: NONE of these questions (that make perfect sense) are EVER raised when these charges are made against a Republican.
