~ EXCERPT ~

~ snip ~

President Barack Obama's job approval rating is down to 42%, with a decline in approval from Democrats the leading factor.

The latest Zogby Interactive poll of 4,518 likely voters conducted from August 28-31 found 48% disapprove and 42% approve of the job Obama is doing. The poll found 75% of Democrats approve of Obama's performance, a drop of 13 points among Democrats from an interactive poll done July 21-24 of this year. That same poll found 48% of all likely voters approving of Obama's job performance, and 49% disapproving.

~snip~

In the time between the two aforementioned polls, Zogby conducted a similar interactive survey from Aug. 18-20. That poll found 45% of all likely voters approving of Obama's job performance and 51% disapproving. So Obama is up very slightly overall from 10 days earlier.

The Aug. 28-31 poll also found that:

>“He may dump the rest of the stimulus $$$$$$$ soon rather than wait for 2010”

You still think we’re going to see that stimulus money?<

That stimulus money will be used for the elections just as it was written.
Funding ACORN, providing pet projects for arts, etc to garner voted for democraps

>The president can not be recalled. A majority of the House of Representatives can vote to impeach the president. If he is impeached he is tried by the Senate, which can convict and remove him from office by a 2/3 vote.<

it is only for high crimes and misdemeanors though right?
I don’t know if there is a clause for being nuts.

Certainly no clause for unpopularity.

>The drop in Zero’s popularity among Democrats is because he hasn’t opened the re-education camps yet.<
True, they think .. at least many think he doesnt need to work with republicans because they have the “we won” attitude.

They are angry because he wont just ram the health care down our throats without our consent.

But I still think that is only the far left .. maybe 20%?

Playing a round of golf (but stylishly, in khaki trousers and navy shirt) while our troops die in the mess he made in Afghanistan and one of the most populated metro areas in the world is threatened by a massive wildfire, trying to gain the power to pull the plug on the web at will, hostile takeovers of American business, tax hikes, death care, diplomatic gaffesmonumental diplomatic gaffes....what’s not to like?

>Yeah, I know about Kudlow....he’s a cockeyed optimist for sure. But it seems everyone is predicting a nice, robust recovery starting this year.

What say you? Why WOULDN’T this happen? It seems only natural to me.<

maybe you should watch this, to say “everyone” is predicting a nice robust recovery is not exactly correct.

Clinton had below 50% approval rating 3 months into his first term? Yet he still got reelected.

I don't remember this.

The problem is that Obama is putting in place his own shadow government with which to seize the country.

He got elected each time (Thanks to Perot) with less than %50 of the vote so getting to 50% was actually an improvement.

IMHO, Obama could care less about ratings. All he cares about is getting his leftist/marxist/radical agenda through Congress...Nothing more...nothing less.

I don't understand why so many libs are so angry and bitter. They have the House, the Senate, the Presidency...

The "Struggle" will never be over for them. If they were to admit victory, they'd have to also admit that their class war is over. They'd then have to play by the same rules that the rest of us play by, and that is entirely unacceptable to them.

In talking with black friends and relatives over the last twenty-odd years, I'd often wondered why they still had so much attention on race issues, when the war for Civil Rights was won long ago.

Well, the truth is that if they admitted that the old barriers were demolished, they'd have to compete on a level playing field with everyone else. The special access and entitlements afforded by their alleged "victim status" was empowering for them. It was just too hard to let go of that special handicap which gave them a leg up on their fellows.

Similarly, liberals in general cannot admit that they've won, because they'd have to give up their traditional "little guy" status. The mechanisms that have propelled their cause to power would vanish, and they'd be left to do battle with the conservatives on merit alone, which they have none of.

This is one of those good news bad news stories...the good news, his approval rating is tanking. The bad news...like any other wounded animal, he will strike back viciously. Watch for the heat to be turned up on any dissent and anything held highly by the right like FIREAMRS. I see where he is going to address the school children...if that does not smack of some kind of fifth column within everyone’s home: the beloved leader asking for help from the enlightened children to help change their parents opinions of him and his agenda and to report anyone who goes against either.

Bad times are coming and the smell of revolution may be in the air soon.

The more there is even the hint of this - like in the Town Halls - his ratings plummet.

Like it or not, worshipers or doomsayers, approval ratings = mandate or no mandate. Right now he’s got no mandate.

And the 52% who are *proud* of this pretender-commie-in-chief can go too!
++++++++++++++

Oh, they won't leave. Like Alec Baldwin, the dolt, all talk and no action to back it up. They all know, all of ‘em, how this great country provided for so many here and food for half the world. YET - they blast away at her with both barrels, like some insipid internal terrorists.

No, they want to stay and suck off this nation's hard won largess - like parasites, they are the dependent underclass.

They are killing *themselves.* And if we allow it, the communists and socialists and dependent underclass *will* kill this nation - wittingly or not.

But we will NOT allow it.

Go Tea Partiers! It's time to rise up and save this nation again!

Bush didn't get down to 42 percent until well into 2005. Obama has gotten there in eight months.

AND, this was following YEARS of 24x7 bashing by the traitorous media after having to go dormant for twelve months following 9-11 -- because their usual anti-America claptrap would have resulted i all of their HQ buildings burned to the ground -- and after Obama has received constant ass kissing by the same media for two full years (including the campaign).
