Sex slave Jaycee Lee Dugard sorry for bonding with Phillip Garrido
Jaycee Lee Dugard: was taken from a bus stop in 1991
After being imprisoned as a sex slave for almost two decades and forced to bear the children of her captor, Jaycee Lee Dugard had one thing to say as she was reunited with her family yesterday: Im sorry.
She is very remorseful, said her stepfather, Carl Probyn. She feels really guilty for bonding with this man. Theres really a guilt trip here.
America was shocked by the abduction of Jaycee, a blonde-haired, blue-eyed 11-year-old in a pink top and trousers from a bus stop outside her home in 1991. In spite of intense press interest, the case went cold.
The next time anyone heard from her was on Wednesday this week, 18 years after she was snatched, when she turned up at a parole office in the town of Concord, California, in bizarre circumstances. Accompanying her was her suspected kidnapper, Phillip Garrido, 58, his wife, Nancy, 55, and two children.
According to various witnesses, Ms Dugard was in good health but uneducated, and looked barely older than when she disappeared. She looks almost like when she was kidnapped, said Mr Probyn, whose wife and daughter were spending their first full day with her yesterday since her disappearance. She looks very young. She doesnt look 29 at all.

May God help this girl recover and heal.
AMEN!!!From your post to GODS ears! May the deepest hottest corner of Hell have space enough for this cretin Garrido.
and then told him to come to the office? HUH?

That’s odd. Obviously she has not been able to develop emotionally or mentally but the article makes it sound as if she hasn’t developed or aged much physically.
She has nothing to feel guilty about. Stockholm Syndrome is a natural reaction in a case where she was dependent for her life on this nutjob.
Thank God for that U Cal security officer's alertness and willingness to follow up, unlike the LE officer who failed to follow up years ago.
Prostitutes. About ten of them. They were murdered and dumped near an industrial park where he worked at the time.
The poor girl feels guilty!
It wasn’t her fault, but I understand it.
:-(
Thanks.
He was in jail from roughly 1977 to 1988 (11 years of 50 year sentence). He was on parole as sex offender from that time on. He grabbed Jaycee in 1991 till the present. On a further note local news is reporting a new crime scene is being investigated in connection with Garrido. It has something to do with prostitutes being killed. The news was sort of vague.
Absolutely.
Wow! Somebody in that organization needs to watch more NCIS. That's NOT how Gibbs & Co. would have gone about it.
Seriously, it's a miracle the guy didn't run, with our without his entourage.
There's a LOT to be discovered here. The details will be interesting but I fear quite disturbing.
God bless the young lady and her family. This phase of her recovery is going to be as hard on everyone as the years of wondering where she was, if she was even alive.
As for Garrido, I am content to let the justice system work its magic on him. I can say that because my faith tells me that God will work His magic on him, too. Regardless of what happens to him in rest of this life, he will have to stand before the judgment throne, and that will be a time of true, and eternal, justice.
Another government agency worker at their finest.
What you said...And, that no one else uses them for their own selfish purposes in the process.
Well said.
I agree, in her situation she was trying to simply survive.
Amen.
Sunlight ages skin. I'd bet she didn't get much in the past 18 years.
Sad, ain’t it?
Will do and apologies. Thanks
