Three generations of imbeciles are enough

Yet the Kennedys keep breeding.

Liberals are not moved by facts and logic. So none of this will work.

Liberals/Socialist better understand this right now:

Obama or anybody for this matter will never stop the free speech of any American in this country without consequences of defence. If anyone tries to redo a "Sedition Act" the war American will bring will be on the heads of those who would be so blatantly unAmerican.

"If anyone tries to redo a "Sedition Act" the war American will bring will be on the heads of those who would be so blatantly unAmerican. "

It IS being recreated, in bits and pieces like the fairness doctrine, human rights commissions, hate crime laws, etc. So where's the war?

The Liberal would simply state that was then, and now is different, and go on as though that statement resolved any difference in opinion whatsoever.

What guilt!? Liberals live in a World dominated by lies. They don’t know what guilt is.

re: Sedition Act which banned the use of any “disloyal, profane, scurrilous, or abusive language” about the government

Which of course has been replaced with political correctness. Goes after the same speech, that which offends someone. And it's been expanded to include any kind of speech which offends, not just anyone but rather a ‘protected’ minority. If you are white, Christian and male you it's open season on you.

The double standard is staggering. Liberals do nothing but run their mouths, using the most insulting or demeaning words they can string together. Then they accuse the Right of being the hate mongers.

Did anyone else happen to catch Andrew Breitbart on the Rush Humphrey show yesterday? Wow! He sure let loose on the recently departed Lion of the Left. I won't even try to paraphrase what he had to say, but it was so refreshing. Hopefully I can find the interview online and link to it.

For the first time in my lifetime they liberals are being actively engaged, and it's through the graces of the new media. And they don't know how to handle it! They've gone through decade after decade doing their damage the Right has been too busy making the country run, so the liberals could be liberals, to take them on. Well, that seems to have changed. The liberal MO of going on the attack at the first sign of criticism or questioning their goals worked for a lot of years. At last the Right has realized they have to take on the Left and match tactic for tactic or there won't be an America, as we know and love it, in a few years.

I sense this Obama presidency and the near-panic rush to get so much done so quickly, all of it bad for America, is the Left’s Tet Offensive. They see themselves within striking distance of taking over America.

Someone is pulling the strings. And there's a string for each piece of the liberal left. A string for race, one for wealth, another for voters, and so on. Whoever is pulling the strings has managed to convince these disparate parties that THEIR pet project or goal is within reach. Truth is the puller of the strings couldn't care less about these people and their aspirations. The moment the takeover is complete every one of these groups will be told to forget their goals and fall in line behind the string pullers or they will be destroyed.

Man, I hate sounding like a dyed in the wool, old fashioned conspiratorial lunatic fringe charter member, but there's just too much happening too quickly for it be coincidence.

So where's the war?

Go read some history on the Sedition Act then let's continue...

Hate Crimes Law is the only one right now pushing the envelope, I'll agree.

Your points are well taken and I think I can confidently say that there are many who agree with you. Of course we know that Soros is one of the “string pullers” and his minions of which there must be many.

You’re not part of the “conspiratorial lunatic fringe”, there have always been those who conspire to do evil. Oh, they don’t think it evil but it is. Hold up Scripture to what they are doing at it becomes very evident, very clear, who can doubt it?

Good points, I’m glad you’re out there, that’s why FR is so valuable.

Acts, Bills, and Laws, May 16, 1918
The Espionage Act of 1917 was amended by Congress the following year to not only target those who interfered with the draft, but also those individuals who publicly criticized the government — including negative comments about the flag, military or Constitution.

The revised law provided in part:

SECTION 3. Whoever, when the United States is at war, shall willfully make or convey false reports or false statements with intent to interfere with the operation or success of the military or naval forces of the United States, or to promote the success of its enemies, or shall willfully make or convey false reports, or false statements, ...or incite insubordination, disloyalty, mutiny, or refusal of duty, in the military or naval forces of the United States, or shall willfully obstruct ...the recruiting or enlistment service of the United States, or ...shall willfully utter, print, write, or publish any disloyal, profane, scurrilous, or abusive language about the form of government of the United States, or the Constitution of the United States, or the military or naval forces of the United States ...or shall willfully display the flag of any foreign enemy, or shall willfully ...urge, incite, or advocate any curtailment of production ...or advocate, teach, defend, or suggest the doing of any of the acts or things in this section enumerated and whoever shall by word or act support or favor the cause of any country with which the United States is at war or by word or act oppose the cause of the United States therein, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $10,000 or imprisonment for not more than 20 years, or both....
United States, Statutes at Large, Washington, D.C., 1918, Vol. XL, p. 553 and following.

More than 2,000 prosecutions occurred under the original and amended Espionage Act, the most famous of which was that of Socialist spokesman and draft opponent, Eugene V. Debs, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Both the Espionage Act and the Sedition Act were repealed in 1921.

Bush and Nixon, that seems to be the extent of the leftwing moonbats talking points. If you try pointing out the lying, traitorous acts of John Kerry and his fake winter non-soldiers, the conspiracy set up by Kerry and Kennedy to set up a lie-fest of a senate hearing accusing our veterans of war crimes.

Telling gruesome stories that never happened, which led to the senate cutting funds to the south Vietnamese forces which in turn caused the NVA to turn around from a full retreat, killing hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese in the process, and a war already won to be lost, and subsequently decades of needless misery and suffering and murder to follow.

The loony left just stick their fingers in their ears and yell NANANANANANA Bush NANANANANA Nixon NANANANA Haliburton NANANANA!

There is no point wasting your breath trying to reason with these brain dead and brainwashed morons. All they envison is free stuff that they think they somehow deserve which should be paid for by "rich" people and big greedy corporations that they feel shouldn't be making profits, and employing their sorry butts, those that work that is.

“Man, I hate sounding like a dyed in the wool, old fashioned conspiratorial lunatic fringe charter member, but there's just too much happening too quickly for it be coincidence.”

The truth is that the radical leftist fringe has been working for decades to position themselves for what they see as the right time to “change America”. Listen to Glenn Beck. He's only beginning to uncover the extent to which Obama has installed openly communist party members all throughout his fiefdom. Your wildest conspiracy theories don't hold a candle on what they are doing in plain sight. And they will continue to actively destroy America while pointing at you and saying “right wing nutcase”. It's their Alinsky playbook.

Never argue with a fool, bystanders may not be able to tell which one is the fool. I forget the exact quote, as well as its author, but I try to obey it. Its better for my sanity.

Robert Ringer has written that one way to begin to doubt your sanity is to carry on a discussion with an illogical person, which describes liberals to a T.

It's not that I don't agree with you on this, but will just say I believe these people are too ridiculously anserine too pull it off.
