Liberals are not moved by facts and logic. So none of this will work.
Obama or anybody for this matter will never stop the free speech of any American in this country without consequences of defence. If anyone tries to redo a "Sedition Act" the war American will bring will be on the heads of those who would be so blatantly unAmerican.
I cant talk to them...all they do is yell “Bush is stupid” and nothing else....to them thats the end of any discussion.
The Liberal would simply state that was then, and now is different, and go on as though that statement resolved any difference in opinion whatsoever.

Which of course has been replaced with political correctness. Goes after the same speech, that which offends someone. And it's been expanded to include any kind of speech which offends, not just anyone but rather a ‘protected’ minority. If you are white, Christian and male you it's open season on you.
The double standard is staggering. Liberals do nothing but run their mouths, using the most insulting or demeaning words they can string together. Then they accuse the Right of being the hate mongers.
Did anyone else happen to catch Andrew Breitbart on the Rush Humphrey show yesterday? Wow! He sure let loose on the recently departed Lion of the Left. I won't even try to paraphrase what he had to say, but it was so refreshing. Hopefully I can find the interview online and link to it.
For the first time in my lifetime they liberals are being actively engaged, and it's through the graces of the new media. And they don't know how to handle it! They've gone through decade after decade doing their damage the Right has been too busy making the country run, so the liberals could be liberals, to take them on. Well, that seems to have changed. The liberal MO of going on the attack at the first sign of criticism or questioning their goals worked for a lot of years. At last the Right has realized they have to take on the Left and match tactic for tactic or there won't be an America, as we know and love it, in a few years.
I sense this Obama presidency and the near-panic rush to get so much done so quickly, all of it bad for America, is the Left’s Tet Offensive. They see themselves within striking distance of taking over America.
Someone is pulling the strings. And there's a string for each piece of the liberal left. A string for race, one for wealth, another for voters, and so on. Whoever is pulling the strings has managed to convince these disparate parties that THEIR pet project or goal is within reach. Truth is the puller of the strings couldn't care less about these people and their aspirations. The moment the takeover is complete every one of these groups will be told to forget their goals and fall in line behind the string pullers or they will be destroyed.
Man, I hate sounding like a dyed in the wool, old fashioned conspiratorial lunatic fringe charter member, but there's just too much happening too quickly for it be coincidence.

Enough with the “guilty” liberal already. They are guilty of much but they are not driven by guilt. These people are driven by their twisted morality. Their moral relativism demands that they oppose what is good and decent.
Unfortunately facts do not faze liberals. Liberalism is based on feelings and emotion. They don’t allow facts to change what they “feel” is right.
Excellent piece. It eloquently states why I don’t really use the left/right dichotomy any longer, but instead the totalitarian / anarchist scale. Both left and right wingers have been totalitarian over time, so it’s more useful to think in terms of authoritarianists vs. those who would make their own way.
