CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Police in Charlotte are unraveling a home invasion and burglary that ended with a 15-year-old suspect shot to death on a nearby street.

The Charlotte Observer reported Wednesday that police have not charged 76-year-old C.L. McClure in Marcus Fluker's death.

Police say four teens entered McClure's home Saturday. McClure was bound with duct tape and his wife held at gunpoint. The robbers left with some jewelry and a wallet.

He can’t track him down after the threat is passed and execute him, appointing himself as judge, jury and executioner.

It is not illegal to ask for your stolen property back and it IS legal to defend yourself. He went to get his stuff, not to deliberatly kill them as revenge. That is my take anyway. Hopefully a jury agrees.

And theft of some jewelry and wallet does not merit capitol punishment in any jurisdiction.

It does on my property.

A lot of thefts use to be hanging offenses. It is about time we gave out fewer slaps on the wrist.

You want to send a youth to meet his Maker, probably condemning him to Hell for all eternity, over a wallet?

It was the kid’s appointed hour. The action was carried out by the elderly man, but if you are speaking of Hell then perhaps you’d agree that time was up on this lad. He’d have another chance at redemption had he not been associated with binding and threatening an elderly couple in their home.

It does on my property.

Mine too and it cuts way down on recidivism.

“Quanell X brought in busloads of protesters to make the
neighborhood into Hell on Earth.”
Actually the angry crowd that met Quanell and the “protesters” made their lives “Hell on Earth”, shouted them down and ran their sorry asses out of Pasadena.

“And theft of some jewelry and wallet does not merit capital punishment in any jurisdiction”.
This was not “theft”. It was a home invasion and armed robbery. Try that in Texas and the victem can chase your ass all the way to the next County and shoot you in an attempt to recover the jewelry and wallet. Perfectly legal.
(As it should be).
BTW, are you some kind of Pussy?

Marcus was a good kid. He didn’t deserve to be hunted down. He made a dumb mistake and now he paid wit his life....

You forgot to add that he was turning his life around and was ready to go to college, become a doctor and find a cure for well...everything.

I believe if something like that happened to me at that age....I would do the same thing. What the hell? I lived all those years to see a bunch of punks break into my house, tie me up and rob me? What have I got to lose?...I’m really pissed off now!

People who depend on cops and lawyers and courts and judges for “justice” are fools.
That stuff is all fine and dandy as far as it goes, but it’s usually a crapshoot.

I hope this doesn’t end like a Twilight Zone episode.

I think that episode was from 'Night Gallery', or maybe it was from Spielberg's 'Amazing Stories'.
Whichever, that was a disturbing episode.

>>>Marcus was a good kid. He didn’t deserve to be hunted down. He made a dumb mistake and now he paid wit his life. If Marcus was white this wouldn’t have happened. This was a hate crime.

Just some of the excuses that will be used.<<<

The mother of one of the other thugs involved in the home invasion has made your prediction come true:

“Wiley’s mother, Telisa Jordan told Eyewitness News she does not defend what her son did. She wants to apologize to the elderly couple, but said the ending didn’t have to be deadly.

“When you follow somebody like that, and then you’re randomly shooting, it could’ve been anybody,” Jordan said.

Wiley’s mother said Tahjaue was good friends with Fluker, and both were good boys but likely got into the wrong crowd. Wiley said she didn’t know the other two boys.”

Note to Miss Jordan: If your kid is doing home invasions, he *IS* “the wrong crowd”.

He was killed over armed robbery and a host of other odious things that you appear to want to look past to support your argument.

You point a gun at someone you better kill them because some people WILL get up and track you down and KILL you for it.

Robbery has consequences....Maybe they should teach that in school in addition to how to put a condom on a banana.....

you can bet the judge will tell the jury they may only consider "the facts of the case" and that they cannot let their conscience, opinion of the law,or the motives of the defendants affect their decision...
