wasn't his old playboy pal Chris Dodd? I thought they were drinking buddies..maybe he will deliver the homily or eulogy at the big ceremony in...where DC in some huge cathedral?

I think Chris Dodd was the other half of a Kennedy-waitress-Dodd sexual sandwich a few years ago after a public gathering.

Do you think he was alert his last few hours enough to ask forgiveness for the hatred, evil, corruption and sin that was his life?

"You don’t suppose there will be some waiver for him to lie in state in the Rotunda?"

He may lie in state in the Rotunda, but my guess is that he is already sleeping with the devil.

The removal of Kennedy from the Senate now leaves an open seat in Massachusetts. While Mass is, obviously, a full-up liberal state, even a few of those liberals must be wondering if Obama-care is the way to go. It is quite possible that this could be an interesting election.

Anyone remember the reaction when Reagan died? I think one columnist, Ted Rall maybe, did something like “Reagan Dies,
Descends Into Hell”.

Guess I should be thankful the bloated windbag kicked the bucket...finally, something that takes Micheal Jackson out of the news. Only problem is now the JACKASS party will have their Wellstone-style memorial and politcal rally for the next week or more.

Yet I still wonder, how much longer the Swimmer will still be voting in the senate, like all other deceased DUmocrats turn out during elections every 4 years?

In one DK’s album there was artwork in the booklet as part of a page about the song “Too Drunk to F-—”. It said

“TED Kennedy’s Too Drunk To Swim
b/w PRAY!, Mary Jo

Available at Hall Of Records
Chappaquiddick, Mass.”

Ted exemplified a lot of things that are wrong with American politics. He got his job via heredity, not due to any particular capacity of his own (his last name is what got him in the Senate), he was never subject to viable re-election challenges (meaning that there is little oversight on his activities), he was a career politician who knew nothing BUT politics (he had never held a ‘real job’ in his life), and he was corrupt (just look at all the “missing funds” from the Big Dig...)

He was also a hypocrite. On one hand, he claimed to champion wind power and alternative energy. But when a company wanted to install some wind turbines near his family’s private compound on Martha’s Vineyard, he threw a fit and had it blocked.

May God have mercy on his soul, if he had one. Other than that, may he RIH (rest in hell).

“Tabloids are reporting that Sen. Ted Kennedy has an illegitimate 21 year-old son. Apparently, Kennedy isn’t denying the report, but the kid is.” —Conan O’Brien

“The Supreme Court confirmation hearings got pretty heated yesterday. Ted Kennedy questioned Judge Alito’s integrity when Alito was at Princeton. As you may know, Kennedy was kicked out of Harvard for cheating. So when it comes to questionable integrity at college he knows what he is talking about.” —Jay Leno

I hope Mary Jo is the receptionist at the pearly gates. Gee Mr. Kennedy, there doesn't seem to be an appointment for your here. Try checking the other window. Yeah, the one with the hellish fire burning in the background.
