Obama's Plan to Desecrate 9/11

The Obama White House is behind a cynical, coldly calculated political effort to erase the meaning of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks from the American psyche and convert Sept. 11 into a day of leftist celebration and statist idolatry.

This effort to reshape the American psyche has nothing to do with healing the nation and everything to do with easing the nation along in the ongoing radical transformation of America that President Obama promised during last year's election campaign. The president signed into law a measure in April that designated Sept. 11 as a National Day of Service, but it's not likely many lawmakers thought this meant that day was going to be turned into a celebration of ethanol, carbon emission controls, and radical community organizing.

The administration's plans were outlined in an Aug. 11 White House-sponsored teleconference call run by Obama ally Lennox Yearwood, president of the Hip Hop Caucus, and Liv Havstad, the group's senior vice president of strategic partnerships and programs.

Yearwood, who uses the honorific "Reverend" before his name, has been in the news in recent years, usually for getting arrested. After Democrats took back Congress, the rowdy activist was handcuffed outside a congressional hearing in September 2007 when Gen. David Petraeus was to testify. Yearwood told the "Democracy Now" radio program that he wanted to attend the hearing to hear Petraeus give his report. "I knew that when officers lie, soldiers die," he said.

Our sociopathic President is alluding to the trio of problems, that according to liberals if solved, will remedy ALL the problems of the world: Poverty, Ignorance and Disease. They call it "PID" for short)

In a nutshell, this is what separates liberals from normal people.

Normal people, who aren't brainwashed and haven't lived their lives in cloistered Ivory Towers or intellectually incestous dens of liberalism such as Berekely, Cambridge, Madison or Manhattan, know that some people are just evil.

Evil.

There are people all over the world who bath in these big three problems, Poverty, Ignorance and Disease. But they didn't come halfway around the world to fly planes into buildings to kill 3000 innocent people in a single day. Only these Islamofascist terrorists did.

The penchant of liberals to find an excuse for every misdeed permeates every single issue they have an opinion about, ranging from illegitimacy to crime and punishment.

Basically, nobody is responsible for their own actions. If someone did something bad, it might be their childhood. It might be their race, religion, environment, family, income level, whatever. In their liberal world, it is always SOMETHING.

I am trying to have a Christian outlook about this, forgiving my enemies and so on, but it makes steam come out of our ears when a person can say things like this and be elected the President of the United States.

I didn't read all 140+ comments but this 'National Day of Service' is really Bill H. R. 1388. Its 141 pages and on 4/21/2009 it was signed by the pretender president. It became Public Law No: 111-13.

True. It SHOULD be a holiday all over this country, but I am willing to settle for the 4th of July to serve that sentiment.

Hell, it isn’t a state holiday for ME and I live here. It IS a holiday for state employees (or at least was, up to this year, and might still be) but they also get Evacuation Day off, and 99% have not a single clue as to what evacuation day IS.

I read something addressed to the worship and social action leadership where I work to “help Obama” in a summer-long effort of good deeds to conclude with a “National Day of Service” on Friday, September 11.” I was outraged. I spoke to three people in the leadership—and being amazingly dense liberals that they are, they saw nothing wrong with it. They said maybe it was time to move on and not dwell on the tragedy and make September 11 about something positive. I couldn’t believe it! I said, 9/11 was deadliest attack on the U.S., deadlier than Pearl Harbor. I said, Jews continue to commemorate Yom Hashoah, 60 years after the Holocaust. But somehow, could not penetrate thick skulls.

9/11 should remain a fearful day and reminder for EVERYONE. But, if you’re a practicing or “closet” muslim, it would be a day of celebration or “service”. I, personally, have not seen a lot of “service” getting done on MLK Day.

Ask anybody who grew up on a dairy farm what "service" means and they'll tell you that "somebodies gonna get screwed".

This is asinine. If we want some action related to 9/11, then that action should be about vigilance and preparedness. If we want to honor a group of people, it should be a day to recognize first responders.

It always is at our church. We have a blue Mass on 9/11 to remember the fallen and honor the living. Attend just about any catholic church to see one.......
