At a certain law school, there are many academic titles in effect. "Professor" is for the person who has (a) at least a Juris Doctor degree (three years of law school, the "bachelor's degree" of legal studies, the former LL.B., as opposed to the more advanced LL.M., the "master's degree" of legal studies, and the "J.S.D." or Ph.D. equivalent), plus has gone through a five-year review for tenure, which includes teaching evaluations, public and community service work, and publications. The "tenure-track" candidate is "Assistant Professor" and/or "Associate Professor" until tenure is granted.

Beyond the tenured, tenure-track, and retired tenured (read: emeritus) professors, there are the adjunct professors (who have day jobs elsewhere), the lecturers, lecturers in residence, senior lecturers, etc., who are all outside the pale.

If BO was a mere lecturer or adjunct, he deserves a good swat on the behind with a copy of The Chronicle of Higher Education for putting on airs.

[we have been told that he never wrote ONE thing for the LawReview ]

That's true. Perhaps whoever was subsidizing him gave a huge contribution to the college. We've never known how he got into these colleges nor who was paying his way - possibly even another country.

He was never a professor!

I dunno. Yahoo disagrees. Was he - or wasn't he?

As president of the Harvard Law Review and a law professor in Chicago, Senator Barack Obama refined his legal thinking, but left a scant paper trail. His name doesn't appear on any legal scholarship.

Do we have a Freedom of Information Act in this country or not?

More importantly, why don't we have at least one (1) Supreme Court Justice unafraid of personal threats or projected civil disobedience in the event it can be proven Barry Soetaro is NOT a US citizen. As it stands, it appears corruption rules this nation, much the same as the old (and new) USSR - Russia. There has got to be at least one witness with documentation that Obama has not thought of to silence. (perhaps bad choice of wording)

half were chosen by fellow students after a special writing competition.

Good thing it wasn't a speaking competition because he wouldn't have had a teleprompter to depend upon.

Didn't Alito recuse himself from both the SCOTUS meeting with BO and Biden (pre-Inauguration), and the Inauguration itself?
