Oh my god THAT was the worst thing I’ve ever seen done. Honestly I don’t think I’d be more stressed by beaheading.
Christian Szell: Oh, don’t worry. I’m not going into that cavity. That nerve’s already dying. A live, freshly-cut nerve is infinitely more sensitive. So I’ll just drill into a healthy tooth until I reach the pulp. That is unless, of course, you can tell me that it’s safe.
Meanwhile, way down in the 11th paragraph we find out this about Nashiri:
Nashiri, who remains in U.S. custody at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, was the alleged mastermind of the 1999 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 American sailors and nearly sank the vessel.
Hmm...mastermind of the Cole bombing, 17 killed + many more injured, almost sank a multi billion dollar ship. And we’re supposed to feel sympathy for him?
How about all the civilians killed so far by Obama’s death squads operating in Pakistan? THe Washington Post hasn’t written any articles about that. But an AQ mastermind who was head of AQ in the Persian Gulf gets front page treatment?
Please.
Jack wasn’t having a good day, Just out of a Chi-Com prison, ready to be killed, then his brother and father let a Russian Nuke go off.
Well hope he “Got Close with his sister-in-law”. He likes dark haired women.
Oh Lord, You’ve given the libs somethings lese to whine about: Fisher-Price Torture Training Tools.
I’d hope they’d do something like that. I for one am against our people really using drills on prisoners, but that’s because I live a cushy life in Oklahoma. It’s amazing what hoops the media jump through to make the CIA look bad. Even at the expense of looking like naive preschoolers.
I never watched that filthy show but I notice from this picture I have the same style holster as Jack Bauer, dose that make me cool?
“....prolonged mental harm”
Clearly this judge didn’t know anyone who died on 911. We’re really worried about the mental well being of terrorists?
If Bush was that kind of guy Rats would have never won another election. He kept them relevant by being too soft and kicking us in the teeth to win their favor.
filthy show?
Was it illegal to make such threats? If not, why get all wee wee’d up about it?
Yes, yes. Forty years later, most of my SERE classmates are still under heavy medication and weekly counseling after the horrors of being slapped, waterboarded, deprived of sleep, and stuffed into coffins... NOT! LOL!
p.s. I forgot to mention the mock executions with M-16s in the evasion phase.
Funny how with Obama struggling, more anti-Bush crap appears. What an odd coincidence!
“The report also says that a mock execution was staged in a room next to one terrorism suspect...”
They used to do this 2 or 3 times a season on the old Mission: Impossible tv show.
Worked every time, too.
Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri... ultimately became one of three al-Qaeda chieftains subjected to a form of simulated drowning known as waterboarding. Not only that, the CIA agents spoke sharply to him, which is against the Geneva Convention.
Knowing the ridiculous rules they operate under, they probably first had to tell the terrorists that they were prohibited from actually using the drill and gun.
Dittos. Good Job, CIA!
Next time, make sure to carry out some of those “threats” to be certain that the other terrorists get the message that we REALLY want information- and NOW.
