Harvard Ph.D. Lecture Exposes Prejudices of Evolutionary Atheists
ICR ^ | August 21, 2009 | Frank Shirwin, Brian Thomas and Chrstine Dao

Nathaniel Jeanson, a Harvard-trained medical researcher, was recently awarded his doctorate degree in molecular biology. He has made significant contributions to adult stem cell research, and in September he will join the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) as its newest research associate.

Recently, Dr. Jeanson gave a lecture at Calvary Chapel in Boston titled “Evolution: Bankrupt Science. Creationism: Science You Can Bank On.” A number of people from the Boston Atheists organization, including at least one P. Z. Myers groupie, attended the morning talk and evening Q&A forum, which were sponsored by Calvary Chapel...

Yet another scientist exposed as one of those knuckle-dragging, pie-eyed, mount-breathing, empty-headed Creationists.

Even a Harvard doctorate can’t save you from being pegged as a throwback, once you become a Creationist.

In the end, however, Evolution will be exposed as the bankrupt fairy tale that it is.

The Boston Atheist blog even made the ridiculous assertion, “I wouldn’t be surprised if some of [Jeanson’s] grad school income came from the ICR all along.

Even if this were true, I don't see why this would be a problem except to those who have an unguided evolution bias they want to protect. I'm quite sure that there are at least some in grad school programs who get their income from pro-unguided evolution organizations. Should we look askance at them because of that?

Amen to that! Indeed, even the Evos are admitting that Darwin’s materialist creation myth has got to go. That will not, of course, stop them from erecting a new, God-denying, equally unscientific, materialist creation myth in its place. And I suspect, once they run out of materialist creation myths, they’ll probably go New Age.

All the best—GGG

Doesn't it bother you to tout the credentials of a few when countless others more qualified have shown Young Earth Creationism is a fantasy? At what point are you going to admit you have no interest in science or academia and only want to foist your mythology on others? I don't care if you think the world is 6,000 years old, as far as I'm concerned you can believe the moon is made of green cheese - but don't expect to masquerade religion as science and expect anyone with a modicum of intelligence to buy into your superstition.

Actually, that might be kind of fun...to set up an open creationist scholarship fund to send students to the top science graduate programs in the country. The existence of the scholarship organization would be publicized far and wide, but the names of the students receiving the scholarship would be kept secret until after they graduate :o)

“...countless others more qualified...”

Wasn’t this the argument for global warming?

RE :”But since they have been losing scientific debates against creationists such as Dr. Duane T. Gish and Dr. Henry M. Morris since the 1960s, these militant atheists don’t seem to be interested in debating evidence anymore.”(from article)

Gish never debated creation vs evolution. It was always nothing vs evolution. The last thing creationists want to debate is Noah's Ark and the Tower Of Babbel (talk about missing links, they dont have one single bone to prove their theories.) . That's why they pose as IDers and anyone else that wants to talk about evolution. The ICR is the talk “evolution all the time” channel.

The Earth is getting warmer. Whether or not the cause is anthropogenic is debatable and a very complex question, but the consequences are the same regardless of cause.

And evolution is a rotten tree, as some of the comments that are sure to come show.

It’s become a boringly predictable circus from The Temple of Darwinism.

LOL...yet another young earth creationist has graduated from Harvard. That is the source of your anger. And I can see why you’re upset. No matter how hard your fellow evo-bigots try, the argument from creation only gets stronger, all the while Charlie’s fanciful creation myth get’s falsified by the very science the evos say their assinine argument is based on. As the article states, creation scientists have been destroying the Temple of Darwin scientists (who abuse their position and training to secretly push their evo-religion under the guise of science) in debate for decades. So much so again, as the article points out) that the Temple of Darwin scientists are too gun-shy to even debate any more, and instead rant and rave and attack God while hiding behind their wacked-out, anti-science, evo-religious, “science” blogs. And if the neo-Darwinian synthesis is so scientific, then why are the evos openly talking about ditching the HMS Beagle to search for a new evolutionary ship that explains the mounting paradoxes confronting Darwin’s materialist creation myth?

They would love to debate Noah's Ark, or the Tower of Babel, or any other biblical topic your evo co-religionists care to debate. If you doubt me, feel free to set one up, and watch your Temple of Darwin priests-masquerading-as-scientists get pummeled again.

At what point are you going to admit

Why do you believe in knuckle-dragging ape-men? Why do you believe that monkeys accidentaly learned how to play chess? Why do you believe in the accident fairy? Why do you want others to believe in the accident fairy?

but don't expect to

Why do you say that God does not exist?

“In the end, however, Evolution will be exposed as the bankrupt fairy tale that it is.”

That seems to be producing panic among the Darwinist fanatics.

Just look at how Jeanson is ridiculed. Had he proclaimed space aliens populated the earth he would be happily received.

While the article does mention Jeanson’s degree, it fails to mention that Jeanson minored in snake handling.

If “creation scientists” quit issuing position papers and started doing science, I fear they would quickly learn how completely devoid of anything approaching supportable explanations they are. You are so completely clueless about evolutionary theory it is astounding you think you can argue against it.
