On Tuesday, MSNBCs Contessa Brewer fretted over health care reform protesters legally carrying guns: "A man at a pro-health care reform rally...wore a semiautomatic assault rifle on his shoulder and a pistol on his hip....there are questions about whether this has racial overtones....white people showing up with guns." Brewer failed to mention the man she described was black.

Nothing new there. Look how many times they’ve talked about racist republican “birthers” yet managed to omit any mention of Phil Berg, Alan Keyes, and Roger Calero.
Its called cowardice.
Can’t blame the guy for carrying protection after what happened to Kenneth Gladney.
Also failed to mention these gun-toting protesters in Arizona were NOT 2nd Amendment conservatives, but have been found to be Alex Jones 911 Truthers. And the young lady with the Obama is Hitler photo confronting barney was a Lyndon Larouche activist. The Larouchers have been sticking a Hitler mustache on every President since Bush 1.
Another FReeper nailed it earlier today when he said that the democrats have proven that they weren’t ready for a black president.

*flabbergasted*

I do not think people should carry the type of weapon to those meeting in public. It creates a bad atmosphere.
If you are life loving conservertives, why should you support violence and bloodshed? The scripture said, it is because of rebellion, the sanctuary was destroyed, the power of the holy people utterly broken. Hitler manufactured a crisis to gain absolute power. In view of this, free republic should ban, delete rebellious speech.
Since the man who carries a weapon is a black, how do we know he is not part of Acorn in attempt to manufacture news, to make conservertives to look bad. There are so many things we do not know, so many things can be manipulated by both sides, therefore take everything with a grain of salt.
“Love thy enemies, do good to those who hate you” (Mat5:44). That is Jesus’s commandament.
That's why I pay my taxes
By the way, this is how Presidential families should dress. Say what you will about the Kennedy's (and that is quite a bit), at least they were always well-dressed to portray an image to be respected. You don't walk off of Air Force 1 in beach attire. What are we, trash?
Can you imagine the leftist outrage if the first black president had been conservative?
Apoplexy:
1. Sudden impairment of neurological function, especially that resulting from a cerebral hemorrhage; a stroke.
2. A sudden effusion of blood into an organ or tissue.
3. A fit of extreme anger; rage

What violence and bloodshed occurred (besides at the hands of union thugs in St Louis)?
If someone brought a hammer, would you have decried the support of violence and bloodshed?
Oh, I think I'll continue to quote Sam Adams.
I was expecting Obama to be just another bad president, like Carter or something. I never in a million years expected him to be the second coming of Karl Marx. I thought we could just wait him out, but I said the same thing about rap, when it came out too. whoops
Looking at jeanguy04’s posting history, he/she doesn’t appear to be a troll. Jeanguy is taking the most simplistic and historically void view of “turn the other cheek,” but not a totally uncommon one. For a suprisingly good read on this, go to the wiki at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turning_the_other_cheek (Yeah, shocked me, too.). Such views can be annoying, but don’t rise to the level of trolldom IMHO. Of course, I could be wrong...
regarding rap -
I thought it would be on the way out when Vanilla Ice came on the scene...
The way to destroy a countercultural movement is to have white people start liking it.
