It's not the nature of the evidence but the seriousness of the charge. When William Jefferson Blythe Clinton was impeached by the House of Representatives on December 19, 1998, most Democrats and the entirety of the mainstream media were outraged that a sitting president should be so ill-used for purely political ends. The argument made by the Clinton spin machine and eagerly gobbled up by their slobbering allies in the media was that the impeachment was about Mr. Clinton's private sex life, and that Prosecutor Ken Starr was simply digging up salacious material to smear Their Guy. Clinton's polling data remained high, and the knock-kneed Senate was too frightened of this popular President to vote to convict. RINO Benedict Arlen Specter tried to vote "not proved" but changed his vote to acquittal when he was not allowed to do so.
But the Republican-controlled House of Representatives did not fear the dark of night, nor the political arrow that flies by day; they impeached the randy Mr. Clinton despite the potential political ramifications. Why did they do that? Because they understood the arguments, understood that what Mr. Clinton did was not a personal matter between himself and Monica Lewinsky (and Hillary and Chelsea) but involved a wrong committed against a largely unknown woman from Arkansas. Clinton was not impeached over Lewinsky; she was simply evidence of corruption, of witness tampering, obstruction of justice, and perjury.
Perjury. Keep that word in mind.
There has been a simmering issue, one that began before Barack Hussein Obama took office. The Obama camp has spent over a million dollars to keep his birth certificate (and other documents) from being examined.

You Called?
Those are some of my favorite names! LOL
Good article and reason I am disappointed in the usually logical Ann Coulter
This MUST be kept alive. It goes to the core of or government and the essence of the law.
This MUST be kept alive. It goes to the core of or government and the essence of the law.
Has she explained why?
“intellectual conservative”, is that long for RINO? While I think ANY discussion of Obummer’s ineligibility is a positive, this long winded, tinkering around the edges, commentary is not worth the reading. It sounded to me like this person is a Johnny come lately to this issue. If so, WELCOME ABOARD. If not, go back to school. To examine all the factual and relevant material on this issue would take at least a week of constant study. Many of us have been at it off & on for over a year. Most Americans STILL know almost nothing about it. That is starting to change, thank God and Orly Taitz.
He told them. They just didn't care. That or they did care but their votes were silenced by all the fictitious ACORN voters.
This was my last straw with Ann. Bub-bye, Ann.
“FREE THE LONG FORM!”
It’s a matter of honesty, integrity, character. The birth certificate is just the catalyst. 0bama’s principles are diametrically opposed to those of the Founding Fathers. He’d have fit in well with Stalin, doesn’t fit well with George Washington, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Patrick Henry, et al.
Ping for later.
I will never respect Ann Coulter again! And...I seriously mean it.
If Ann Coulter can't see that this is about perjury and the rule of law, then how can I trust her judgement on anything else? She merely a big mouth and an opportunist feeding her wallet at the conservative trough.
Ann didn't merely disagree with those defending the Constitution, she **insulted** us and used the KKK to make her point.
It is **rational** to make the simple request, “Prove that you, Obama, are a natural born citizen.” With a nod of his head Obama could do this.
Obama here is the NUT! He is the person who has spent 1.4 million dollars and fought this all the way to the Supreme Court. That is nutty and rightfully suspicious behavior.
“He is the person who has spent 1.4 million dollars and fought this all the way to the Supreme Court.”
I keep seeing this 1.4 million dollar figure. Any idea what the source is?
Excellent article, and well worth the read.
Not that I've seen. And frankly I doubt if Coulter has a good reason why besides something that is personal.
Thanks. I never heard her explain why either and since she’s a constitutional lawyer, I thought she would shed some light.
I think you are right, it’s something personal.
