Call him the new Moses -- Robert Moses, that is.
Mayor Bloomberg says that since 9/11 he has tried to transform the city on a scale not seen since the days of the legendary and controversial master builder of highways, bridges and parks that changed the metropolitan landscape.

Bloomberg has delusions of grandeur.
Gag me with a spoon. Apparently, he has delusions of being obama.
Not in public, I hope...
Sadly, he has more executive experience than Obama.
I grew up on Long Island, not far from the Robert Moses Expressway. Was too young, I guess.
Who WAS Robert Moses, actually? Never did know, except well, from this column I see he was a builder on LI.
Arrogant @#$.
Bloomberg is aa absolute jerk. He is dangerous because he has lots and lots of money. He also has fascist tendencies and as mayor the opportunity to indulge them.
His illegal sting operation at a Southern gun shop got his butt in a crack, even though his money will allow him to skate on that fiasco. He should be in jail.
Rudy Giuliani biggest legacy was crime reduction policing, throwing out the General Dinkins riff-raff panhandlers and also the 9/11 disaster recovery cheerleading. He rejected Saudi prince Al-Walid bin Talal's $10 million donation. Basically told him to stuff it.
Bloomberg Republican Independent also is "involved" in Mayors against guns and wasn't there something about 'trans fat'?
He's not even an Independent!
methinks bloomy is full of himself.
Classic example of Napoleon Complex.
