WASHINGTON (AP) --
The Obama administration has filed court papers claiming a federal marriage law discriminates against gays, even as it continues to defend the law.

If you’re a Christian (like me), you should not support an abomination like gay marriage. Gay marriage is sin, period.
I think the only thing Obama could to to lose their support is to tell them that the white man really doesn't wake up every morning to dream up some new way to keep black people down.
bttt
Yep. He’s doing worse than the Clintons because Clinton had a great economy to back him up.
AMEN
Not all. Politics is a matter of fighting for fractions. You do what it takes to win.
Whites have to put up with twice as much. Blacks insult whites with impunity, but heaven forbid a white insult a black. They don’t know how white people think, much less what they think.
Whites think “job, family, resume, schedule,” while blacks apparantly think “blame whitey, blame whitey, blame whitey, kill whitey.” Whites do not know what it is to be black because their (white) culture is not based on fantasies of rape to prove their masculinity, shooting someone to prove how strong they are, and destroying mainstream society.
Asians get it together (and are now running our technological infrastructure), hispanics are pulling themselves up, and blacks still remain fundamentally at the bottom.
Reason: Their culture rewards achievement. Black culture rewards ‘revenge’ against the mainstream which only leads to self destruction when the revenge is based on a perceptive of persecution, despite its nonexistency.
True, but fundamentally he’s being cheered on because he answers the deep seated fantasies of blacks finally being in a position of power to get ‘revenge’ on whitey.
This guy is driving me nuts. Here he is AGAIN crashing another party, going where he doesn’t belong, offering his slimy opinion where it’s not asked. He’s got to put his “brand” on everything. A true narc. Blecht.....
.
In the words of a famous immortal:
Well, Goo-o-ll-eeee! Su’prise! Su’prise! Su’prise!
.
ANYONE who honestly thought something else would happen is definitely more of a moron than the “moronic” “ineffective” housewife “unable to stand the heat of the political arena” with a “lost career” from the Great State of Maine, SaraCuda.
I wholeheartedly agree with you.
They’re also not thinking of the slippery slope when they discuss the traditional idea of marriage. Three-somes, marrying their dog or a gondola ride (an article about a lady wanting to marry a gondola ride—on Free Republic, I think last week), and things of that nature could happen when you open up the definition of marriage.
Yes. Marriage is tough enough without being married to an inanimate object. HA!
I’m inclined to believe that is the case, sadly.
LOL. That one caught me by surprise.
Your reply to her should be something like this: The day Obama walks in a black man’s shoes, walks the walk, and talks the talk, then WE will be able to finish this conversation.
Shhhhh. Don’t help out the other side.
That might do it too.
It is counterproductive to lump all black people in such a vein or post material with which our enemies can cite "racism" on FR. Please refrain from such gross generalizations.
Obama posed as a centrist all through the campaign and the mediots did nothing to disabuse anyone of the natural conclusion. Hence, it was easy for people to vote such predispositions lacking evidence to the contrary. Best we make sure we have supplied that evidence before painting an entire demographic we need to help us win with a racist brush, what was until recently a growing black middle class.
I guess he has never read the Bible then and knows God’s word from Genesis onward??
Male and Female He Made Them.
Right on — and God will say “Go away!”
