I don't think anyone here thinks that European leaders have long ago seen through this guy as an empty suit. He was elected pure and simple because he's black and because the republicans put up a weak candidate.
Fact is, this guy is not a black Afican American. His family did not grow up under slavery, in fact the white lineage we're told owned slaves.
He's not a Jackie Robinson. He will never conger up the kind of American pride for the under dog and to the right thing. We like fighters...and we like winners... You can see that in Feb and March the American public gave him high approval ratings. We ALL wanted him to succeed, and by doing so bring our country to a new level. To revitalize our society with new ideas, new ways to improve our lives.
Instead of unleashing the energy and vitality of our captialistic and free market society he went the opposite way.
Instead of lowering taxes to individuals and businesses he raised them. Instead of stimulating our markets he's produced more debt.
In just 8 months, he's the worst president in my lifetime, and getting worse.
I will NEVER follow this man. I will do all I can to oppose his ideas and the phony followers that lead the democratic party.
I don't think in my life time have I ever felt that there is truly a potential for civil war in this country.
It can happen folks. Desperate people do desperate things, and this guy and his handlers will grow more desperate by the week if his numbers keep crashing.

Not a chance. They are in it to the end for absolute power, just like Obama. Getting it won't win popularity contests, they know that, but it won't matter when all protests and uprisings can be snuffed out without anyone even knowing about it. Only good news of the glorious one will fill they air 24/7.

Never happen. The MSM can depict 9.3% unemployment as a positive thing.
We're still in Iraq. Gitmo is still open. Wiretapping calls from foreign sources is still in effect. The Patriot act is still in effect....all the anti-Bush boogeyman subjects are still there after 6 months, yet not a peep from the MSM. When's the last time you heard an Iraq body count?

He was also elected because he had a “presence” McCain lacked.
AND because the preceding GOP President was basically incompetent as was and still is, the GOP leadership.
The GOP will NEVER take back Congress and the White House, REGARDLESS of how poorly the Dems and Obama perform as long as they present themselves as “Democrat Light” and fail to represent the conservative views of the base of their constituencies.
The GOP needs a “rebirth” with respect to traditional American values, Conservative Principles, and Constitutional Orthodoxy.
And as long as it has pre-extinction dinosaurs like Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Grassley, Hatch, Snowe, Collins, Graham and McCain as spokespersons, it is incapable of confronting the Dems. Either the forgoing are totally incompetent or philosophically in bed with the Democrats.

The MSM will protect this guy no matter what. They supported him in the election and they are invested in him and his policies, especially the NBC/GE folks. If his approval rating is 39% the PMSNBC types will still defend him.
