The far-right Sweden Democrats have increased their support to a record 5.6 percent, according to a new voter poll published on Thursday.
The Pirate Party, fresh from its success in the EU elections, has however fallen 1.3 percentage points and enjoys 2.9 percent support, according to the poll by United Minds and Cint which was published in the Aftonbladet newspaper.
Since the previous poll in July the Sweden Democrats have increased their support by 1.5 points. Party leader Jimmie Åkesson is aiming for even higher in the general election to be held next year.
"Our goal is to land on six, eight percent and this is a step in the right direction," Åkesson said to Aftonbladet."
Jimmie Åkesson sees a future for the party in which it holds the balance of power.
"When the power of government is up for grabs I think all parties will be prepared to talk to us," he said.
The poll indicates that the left block of Social Democrats, Green and Left parties enjoy a lead with 46.8 percent of the vote. The governing Alliance coalition collected a total of 42.1 percent.
The Liberal party increased its support by 1.1 points to 7.6 percent in the latest poll while problems for the Christian Democrats continue - with only 3.6 percent they remain below the threshold required for parliamentary seats.
However, everyone wishing to come to our part of the World do not share our believes in hard work, respect for the law and for things like democracy and the right of an unveiled, non-Muslim woman to leave her home without getting raped (not wishing to say veiled Muslim women never get raped in their homes by Muslim men, furthermore, in such cases the “superior” fundamentalist tradition of Islam offers a perfect solution; stoning of the victim!)
This being said, do these “leading” nations of Europe stand up for freedom as well?
Perhaps not, generally speaking, but I'd say the situation is improving.
Sad to say, in the US (not only our, but all of Europe's closest ally) it is the other way around.
The Nordic countries will continue to send troops to the parts of Afghanistan that are among the least secure sections of the country, although larger European nations like France hesitate to move in there and Obama wishes US troops in those areas to flee from the scene (a development which I'm convinced REAL Americans are strongly opposed to).
Again, we are left alone. Just like when Denmark and Norway had to face the Nazi Germany war machine on its own and no one but Sweden assisted the even tinier nation of Finland when our eastern neighbor was attacked by Stalin.
Despite the odds, Finland managed to defend itself.
Let's remember that appeasement is something un-Nordic by speaking the truth regarding a small nation that, almost on its own, heroically resisted Communism 70 year ago:
Brave Finland managed to do what Hitler (despite making full use of the huge military resources of his evil empire) did not; ridicule Stalin in a military confrontation.
Many Russian military experts would (when sober) admit the Finnish “Hakkapeliitta” spirit is the worst adversary ANY army possibly could confront, including barbaric illiterate Afghanistan guerrilla forces (BTW, they are already beginning to learn).
Today, Stalin and Hitler are gone and hated while Finland is free and prosperous.
Will Sweden and the rest of Western Civilization still exist in, say, 300 years from now?
Yes, because there still are hundreds of millions of people around this Earth who believe in true freedom and who, furthermore, have understood what a deadly path the suicidal PC ideology of appeasement towards radical Islam actually is.
USA is not on its own. Neither is Sweden, Britain or France. We've got allies.
Allies, like the vast majority of the 1.2 billion inhabitants of India.
I've traveled around in India, collecting plenty of first hand experiences of how fed up the good people over there are with the “Religion of Peace”.
Here in Sweden, a majority of the population are annoyed with Islam, even if they do not think the Sweden Democrats offers the best solution to the problem.
Instead, they tend to hope the political parties they favor (for other reasons than these parties respective stance on immigrant issues) all of a sudden will wake up to the real situation.
In many ways, I admit we Swedes are naive and although we have produced an amazing number of successful multinationals in relation to the size of our population and despite the fact that we, like said, participate in the WOT in a rather daring fashion, one must say we are spoiled by our nanny state system and admittedly unwilling to face reality like it is.
Not only is it because of our very high material standard of living (generally known in Swedish as our legendary “hög standard”). This is no Socialist myth we market along with IKEA meatballs. Things like average Swedish summer houses/second homes are like paradise to the homes of many American workers:

(No, I'm not saying every Swedish family owns a second home like this, but an AVERAGE Swedish family could rather easily afford a house like this and a better one in the city as well - and it has much more to do with Lutheran work ethics and successful multinationals than high taxes..)
Enjoying the “Hög standard” of living that Sweden boasts is something magnificent and like members of this forum who've read a few posts of mine are well aware I don't apologize for coming from a nation that believes in building national prosperity on the solid foundation of well run companies, high quality education and a low national deficit.
The Sweden Democrats are not our saviors, but the more average Swedes get to hear about Sweden OUTSIDE of the perfect Volvo middle class paradises they dwell in, the better.
This is Sweden too, whether we like it or not:
(short intro in Swedish, the rest of the clip is a classic Fox News report from Eurabia which I'd say deliberately confuses Rosengård with Malmö as a whole, but still captures the worst Muslim horrors of Sweden's third city:)
This pro-Swedish party better get to 20 to 40% fast while they still have a country. At least they do not elect Muslims to run their country.
The ‘Pirate Party’?? Do they have an “Aaaar!” behind their names?
“This pro-Swedish party better get to 20 to 40% fast while they still have a country”
- Young ethnic Swedes in the age of 15-20 are very pro-Swedish compared to my generation (I’m 40) and older ones.
Apart from that, many immigrants over here, whether they are Westernized Muslims, Latin Americans or Far East Asians often express the opinion that “although I’m an immigrant myself, I believe Sweden has done quite enough in terms of acting as the social security office of the world”.
The Pirate Party?? Do they have an Aaaar! behind their names?
- No, but when attacking the toy industry they sometimes use the witty slogan “Pirates aaaar us!”
(I’m aware that was a bad one, even for coming from the outskirts of Gothenburg on a friday night..)
What is a far-right Swede? Someone who only wants to raise taxes 10%? ;-)
- :D
It's ridiculous to label the Sweden Democrats “far-right”.
They nurture several ideas which, indeed, are oriented towards the left.
In most European countries, even more so in ultra-PC Sweden, opposition to immigration is deemed “far-right”, meaning close to Fascist ideology, mainly because Socialist and Liberal politicians, journalists and intellectuals find this way of dealing with Conservative Europeans like me the most convenient way of avoiding a genuine, sincere debate.
What do muslims bring to the table?
- homicide bombings
- beheadings
- insane fanaticism
- hijab
- burka
- sharia law
I’m sure there are more, but I seriously cannot think of 1 single positive thing that a muslim could bring to any country.
- Although certain Muslims throughout history have aided human progress, Islam as such must be viewed as an obstacle to the advance of civilization.
Being a son Sweden, I'd like to pose this question:
- Why are there so few Muslim Nobel laureates (especially in other fields than PC ones like Literature and Peace)?
List of Nobel laureates by country (where is Saudi Arabia??):

This is the first time I have ever heard of Swedish pirates. Wouldn’t the “Viking Party” be more appropriate.
Maybe they’re pro-warez. ;’)
