azfamily.com's Marissa Wingate reports a teen went hiking in full military fatigues with a fake gun and prompted women to call 911.

The kid did nothing wrong, and the two “women” should be charged with falsely reporting an incident.
Disorderly conduct has become the catch-all of cops who don’t want to looks stupid for arresting someone for having a toy.
???
waering cammo is a crime now?
no...wearing cammo might be.....
In the state that gave us Janet Napolitano.
I’m getting real fed up with this sort of BS behavior on the part of the cops.
If they keep this up they’re going to be confronting real militia.
Dang, they would be arresting half of Alaska if they applied that here. Shoot, pretty much every man & boy from age 10 & up at my Church would be thrown in the clink.
Someone should inform those young lesbians of this, they always seem to be wearing it
Thats what they want I think. I guess they can't find them.
It is getting embarrassing to be an American.
Any more this place is full of anti-gun commie pu$$ies.
Yeesh. What kids *don’t* go out and play army in the woods?
Huh?
when you go hunting, you wear cammo and carry a real gun... call 911
When the cops don’t like what you did, but there’s no law against it, they write down “Disorderly conduct.”
Obviously the corrupt administration told the cops to arrest innocent people with fake guns, or they would have had enough sense to ignore it.
It looks like carrying what looks like an M-4 while wearing fatigues on a hiking trail might be a crime of disorderly conduct.
If the two women were so upset, they should be the ones who press charges and not the police.
Some years back the police would have just found out the guy isn’t a threat and taken him home to meet the father’s punishment.
When will this kid get to share a pop with Obama?
I grew up in the Chicago area, and my grandparents lived in Des Plaines. Long story short, I would visit them on the weekends, and very nearby was a wooded area by the the Des Plaines River.
Not a Saturday or Sunday went by, without 30 kids running through the woods with our dads or grandparents army belts, helmets, fake guns, air rifles, whatever we could find.
It was all good fun, and almost all of us ended up serving our country at one time or another.
I miss those days, and I cannot explain to our kids how this country has gone awry, but that is just a prime example.
It would be unfathomable now for some folks to allow that sort of innocent horseplay to happen. Sad.
The Normal Rockwell America I once loved is albeit a fading memory.
I’ve just about lost all respect for police outside of small towns. They’ve become radicalized by design.
In addition, every cent we boys could save was not spent at the candy store, but rather the Army Surplus store. Nothing would get us more excited than an old beat up canteen, we would imagine it was “used by heroes”. Our jackets were covered in boyscout patches and any military patch we could find.
I guess kids like that now would be rounded up as potential “domestic terrorists”. Glad I was a kid when I was.
