Posters depicting President Barack Obama in makeup similar to the Joker from the most recent Batman movie have popped up across Lake County.
A U.S. Post Office in downtown Clermont had a couple of the posters glued to a collection box.
Clermont Postmaster Willie Montgomery said today that the posters were discovered yesterday. Customers complained about the pasted images, he said.
"Everybody that saw those posters found them to be very offensive," Montgomery said. "These are personal attacks on the president. We don't have to necessarily agree with the way they're running the country, but we have to respect the office. That's my position on it."
Montgomery said whoever put up the posters meant for them to stay. He had to scrape off the images, which were stuck on with some kind of adhesive.
"You had to destroy them to get it off," Montgomery said. "They were not intended to be removed. I've never seen anything like that."

Do you realize there’s “Cialis” in “Socialist”? No wonder all the left has a boner for Obama....
Yeah, the poor left wing communists are all upset about Bozo being portrayed as he truly is: A lying scum bag crook.
I would suggest that folks send Mr. Montgomery - and all of those poor offended souls who think this is a personal attack on the POTUS - a sampling of the pictures by leftists attacking President George W. Bush, but that might be more offense against the "office" than they could handle, if they think the "joker" picture is offensive.
They would probably go into shock at the Bush dismemebered by a guillotine, or the Bush with the butcher knife embedded in his forehead, or the Bush assassination movie, or...well, the list is endless.
I glad someone was able to penetrate their comfy liberal cocoon.
He would get no criticism from me for disciplining his daughter in that manner under the circumstances.
I just finished this one too. It's not stealing if I let you have. ( Just post it on another server, I figure if censorship comes the more places the better!)
ooooh baby! Can it be done?
The only problem I have with that is that he did not knock the teeth out of the two boys.

I like the other one better. But you do great work.

Have to admire a man with enough energy to simultaneously run a post office and poll every person who happened to see the poster and ask whether they were offended or not, and if they were offended--how offended ("very!).
Don’t know. .
But hanging Palin in effigy was considered installation art....UFB!
I guess Obama healed him as soon as he took the Oath.
He really is a Messiah. Now if he will only pay my Mortgage and my $3.00 a gallon gasoline bill.
Make that January 2001. Oops...

national or international leaders or politicians, current or former world leaders, convicted criminalscertainly they all belong in the same category.
THANK YOU!! these are awesome. im buying some
Hey Willie, I'll admit pasting them on Postal Property is probably not the best idea. Or, putting them up on property that does not belong to the individual putting them is not good policy. What I DO have a problem with, though, is that item after item which many found to be "very offensive" and disrespectful to Presidents Bush and Reagan received nary a peep from many of the very folks who are upset about this poster. That is plain and blatant hypocrisy and will get no sympathy from me or many others. Sorry about that. Scrape them off.
