I do believe the points made elsewhere are valid that this name calling has not gained any traction and is clearly hurting Bam’s cause. Watch the videos and one can see who exactly these protesters are, just ordinary Americans.

Bam has made a huge gaff/miscalculation here, demonizing those that disagree, lying about what is in the plan and most important thinking that these folks will vote for the Demos in 2010 and beyond after being called some pretty nasty stuff.

We just might win this one!

This has turned out to be a strategic mis-calculation by the dems.

Now the INDs sitting at home are seeing people JUST LIKE THEM at town halls trying to make the politicians listen and be sensible and then here comes the state run media and the dems beating up and verbally bashing the obviously not radical or nazi citizens that are JUST LIKE THEM.

None of the dems have enough sense to come out of the rain and they think they are invincible because THEY WON.

I'm bettin lots of dem representatives have seen the light at the end of this tunnel and recognize that sound as a train coming. Nobamacare is sinking like a lead balloon.

Damn its nice to see AMERICA and LIBERTY prevailing again!

Re#14 Me too. He's going to get something just for PR sake and will get an idiot bump in the polls.

That said, the good thing is that he has spent a lot of capital, has lost his luster and charisma and, most importantly, has lost the trust of a lot of voters who can only conclude he is lying. Getting that trust back is nearly impossible for a politician. Clinton would be an exception (only because his lie was "about sex).

I keep waiting for those testimonials of shiny happy smiling Brits and Canadians telling us how they just love government health care.

Ask and you shall receive.

I won’t say prevailing yet. The rats have the majority, and I wouldn’t put it past them to pass this pieace of crap anyway. They have utter disdain for regular Americans, and will only stop if they know it would kill their political careers. But yes, it is nice to see American standing up!

The findings are bad news for President Obama and Democratic congressional leaders, who have scrambled to respond to town halls marked by aggressive questions and noisy demonstrations by those opposed to plans to overhaul the health care system…

It's actually worse news than the Dems think, and I'll tell you why.

Some of the most deeply seated and rock-rooted opinions and choices in politics are based in fear. (The Dems know this, as they are always playing to fears.)

But now Americans are faced with not one, but two fears, and they are very real, and immanent threats to our safety and well being.

Fear One: Confiscation of health care quality and choice (and confiscation of wealth to pay for others' healthcare.)

We place high value on the health our health and that of our families, and our relationships with our physicians. We are motivated to fight this confiscation of healthcare. Older folks are motivated to fight the raid of Medicare, on which they depend; and they fear being herded into the cemetery by bureaucrats who see them as bothersome liabilities to be counseled and (you-know-whated).

Fear Two: Political disenfranchisement: We (who oppose socialized medicine) now have oppressive limits on free speech and assembly.

Ordinary folks, just like you and me, are accused of collaboration with companies that they barely know exist; and, they are called hateful names and they and their families are harassed.

Couple these two fears together, and you have a heightened state of political ill will directed toward the Dems that cannot be erased or molified by Marxist Obama's speechwriters, or be silenced by arrogant, condescending "representatives".

You are right. But we have to keep pushing back until we have taken back our country and created definitive laws to keep this from ever happening again: http://pushbackuntil.com.

Hey here’s some good news I got today. I hope it makes someone’s day just a tiny bit brighter...this is not totally off topic because the person in my story was an Independent who fell for the ObamaMania. In this case it was an Indy who had White Guilt and voted for O for that reason.

Since last fall, right before the election, I have been trying to get my friend’s husband to vote for conservatives in future elections.

I only met the man once before the 2008 election, so he voted for Zero. He says he’s voted repub and dem in the past, but voted for Zero because of his race (ugh).

His wife and I are strongly Christian Conservatives, thus our friendship.

I’ve know this man, who is very witty and funny, since last September, although I’ve known his wife for 4 years. He and I and his wife have discussed politics everytime we see eachother or speak on the phone(we live an hour apart). I also never fail to bring homemade cookies to the man everytime I visit and we then talk of many things and politics always comes up.

The political talk started last Sept. because I had my Sarah Palin shirt on when I met this man last fall.

After less than a year of bribery with cookies, and his wife and me telling him why socialism is bad etc, he has announced to me this morning via telephone that he will now vote for conservatives and even for Sarah. And he says he’s turning over a new leaf and going to church with his wife too.

Of course he’s aware of all that is going on in politics and does not like what Der Fuhrer is up to. So I don’t take much credit in bringing him to the light of conservatism. The cookies helped. And the friendly banter between him vs. me and his wife did the most good.

I have committed to baking a variety of cookies for him at least until Nov.2012. We have won over one middle of the road voter. He’s on our side now.

A very small victory for the country, but rather a nice development for me, and it didn’t take long or much effort to have him see the light.

A big JimRob “WOO HOO!”. I hope you enjoyed my story. Easy on the flames please, my flame retardant undies are not on at this time.....

Good news! Even within the indie’s there must be patriots.

This is something Reagan knew in his bones. That is because he grew up among the American people. He didn't despise them. He loved and trusted them.

Obama has no clue who we are.

I am going to give my word of warning here. In the last few days too many have been urging folks to tone it down.

Do NOT listen to them. Let your passion guide you. The honest passion, even your outight outrage and anger, is the honesty coming out and that is what all of us are feeling.

Be WHO you are, do not be violent, but do not tone it down.

Do not listen to the left and do not fear their words and scorn. They will do this no matter what you do. They fear your outrage and your honest passion more than anything.

The talking heads? Ignore them. Their wishy washy stance is a losing proposition. RINOitis is a lethal disease.

A large part of it is our passion. I’ve only been to two, Pelosie and Perlmutter.

I never got inside, but it didn’t matter. The battle is won as much on the outside with our shouting and screaming as it is on the inside.
